My Beautiful Girls Graduation

Thursday, July 18, 2013

Hello Lovelies

Today has been a very very proud day for me, my gorgeous daughter Nichole or Cole as we call her Graduated from University, she is now the proud owner of a BSC Honours Degree in Food and Nutrition and I am the proudest mamma on the planet right now.

It was amazing to see my gorgeous girl graduate, Adam also graduated today, Adam is Coles boyfriend and he lives with us, he is more like a son to me and Simon than Cole's boyfriend and we love him very much and are so proud of him too.

As most of you will be aware Cole has an eating disorder and also has Aspergers Syndrome, meaning her days at university have been very hard, she has found the last 3 years extremely challenging and missed most of her last year at university due to ill health, whilst at university in the 2nd year of her course, Cole was also physically assaulted by another student, so as you can probably imagine it has been a very hard 3 years for Cole.

But after 3 years of a lot of hard work, blood sweat and most definitely tears and through sheer determination she passed her degree with flying colours and there is nobody more proud than me. She has certainly earned those letters after her name.

We took loads of photographs today and I do want to share some of them with you, not all 60 that we took but I want to share some of my favourites of the day with you.

A Bit Of Fun, Love This One

Today has been a wonderful day, the graduation ceremony took place at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, it was a lovely venue and we had great seats, it was so nice to see all the graduates in their caps and gowns and I'm sure there were many proud parents in that room.

It feels very strange that it is all over, and it doesn't seem like 2 minutes since Simon and I went looking round many universities around the country with Cole, Cole didn't live out at uni she commuted 2 and a half hours each day there and back adding 5 hours to each day, I'm sure she won't miss that!

Thank you for letting me share this special day with you all, I hope you have enjoyed seeing the photographs.

And all that is left to say is Congratulations beautiful Cole, we are so very proud of you and love you more than words can say aoss <3

Thank you for reading, much love as always
