Something A Little Bit Different - 1 Page At A Time

Hello Lovelies,

Today's post is something a little bit different, it's a post about a book, I don't think I've ever done a book post before in the 2 years I've been blogging but this book is something I've been really enjoying so I wanted to let you know about it. I did mention the book in my January Random Favourites video (click this link to watch the video) but it definitely deserves it's own post too.

I received the book for Christmas from Nichole and Alicia, having a terminal medical condition means I spend a lot of time indoors and get bored very easily, my lovely girls know this and bought me the book as a bit of a "different" gift for Christmas and I love it!

So here's the book

1 Page At A Time by Adam J Kurtz is described as a "creative companion" and I have to agree, it has 365 different things to do, 1 day at a time as the title of the book suggests, so each day I do one of the tasks, you don't have to do them in page order but I do, theres lots of different things to do, from drawing something to writing lists or taking a photo of the page and uploading it to Twitter with a certain hash tag, I like those ones as I love searching the hash tags to see what other people who have the book are doing with theirs.

The above photograph shows four of the pages, these are just pages I chose at random to show you, it shows how different the tasks are, some are funny, some quite serious, some challenge me and take me out of my comfort zone but all are fun to do and I look forward to doing a different thing every day.

I love the book, it's one of the most random gifts I've ever received but one of the best too. I think the book would make a great gift for a male or female and for all ages too, I'm the wrong side of 40 but could see someone younger or older than me enjoying the book, it would be a great gift for someone who has a long daily commute maybe, something for them to do on their journey or someone like me who's pretty much housebound and doesn't go out from one week to the next, or even someone who's convalescing from an operation for example, I think the book would be suitable for so many people and would highly recommend it, it would even make a great valentines gift if you haven't bought one yet.

If you would like to buy the book for someone or just fancy treating yourself, you can find it on amazon here for £7.44 plus £2.80 P&P.

I hope you've enjoyed todays post, if you'd like more book reviews please let me know in the comments.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Zoe x
