Makeup Revolution Matte Blush Collection - Review And Swatches

Makeup Revolution Matte Blush Collection - Review And Swatches

Hello Lovelies,

Since Makeup Revolution launched in March 2014 they have literally revolutionised (if you'll pardon the pun) the make up world by bringing amazing products at affordable prices with prices starting as little as £1 and launching new products faster than you can say "make up" including some incredible dupes for high end products. Recently Makeup Revolution launched a collection of 6 matte blushers and one makeup product I cannot resist is blusher, for years I didn't wear it because my skin is very pink toned and I didn't think it suited me but after trying and loving blush I've been hooked ever since. Matte blushers are my favourite blush formula so when I arrived home form my holidays to some lovely products from Makeup Revolution including all 6 of the matte blush collection I have to admit I let out a squeal of delight.

There are 6 blushers in the matte blush collection with a stunning shade range of pinks and peaches to nudes and brights there is something for everyone and something to suit all skin tones too from the very pale to much deeper skin tones, the packaging is sleek and elegant but sturdy and a great size for both my make up bag and handbag, I particularly like the clear lid so the shade of the blush can be clearly seen making it easier when searching through my collection or make up bag, the names of the blushers are printed on the bottom of the packaging too. There is a whopping 8.9 grammes of product in each blush and they are priced at £3.00 which is an amazing price for such a huge amount of product.

My Thoughts

As soon as I applied the first of the blushers I tried from the collection which was Nude I was blown away by the pigmentation and soon realised after trying them all that all 6 blushers are insanely pigmented and a light hand is needed when applying them. They all apply beautifully and last well on my skin leaving a beautiful matte finish, I adore all 6 shades and use them all, at first I did think I wouldn't get as much use out of New Rules and Nude but I was wrong and have used them just as much as all the other shades, New Rules gives a beautiful flush of colour and looks amazing with a neutral eye and nude lip make up look. My favourites are Beloved a lovely peach/coral shade and Dare a bright blue toned pink but they are all beautiful and look lovely, there is a shade to compliment any make up look and the blushers are ideal for either a subtle day look or a dramatic evening look.

I really am impressed by all the shades in the collection from the packaging to the pigmentation with everything in-between these really are brilliant blushers and the fact they are matte is just perfect for me.

Overall Thoughts & Would I Re Purchase?

I think you have probably already guessed that I adore all 6 of these blushers, the pigmentation is incredible, I only need to use a little of each product and they leave the most amazing matte finish to my skin that lasts really well. The shade range is perfect and in my opinion there is something to suit everyone and every skin tone too, the blushers apply beautifully with a light hand needed because the pigmentation is so brilliant especially with the brighter shades.

I've loved using the blushers since returning from my holidays and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of them all, I find myself reaching for these blushes on a regular basis and in fact I haven't used a high end blush since returning from Greece almost 4 weeks ago.

The price of the blushers is amazing at £3.00 each for 8.9 grammes of product and with great packaging too, they really are an incredible product and one I would recommend in a heartbeat and will most definitely be re purchasing.

If you would like to try any of the blushers from the Makeup Revolution matte blush collection you can find them all on the Make Up Revolution website for £3.00 each.

Have you tried the Makeup Revolution matte blush collection? Whats your favourite shade? And if you're a lover of Makeup Revolution what is your favourite Makeup Revolution product?

Thank you for reading, much love as always
