My First Essence Haul

My First Essence Haul

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have a haul post for you, I recently picked up some products from the brand Essence. After trying Essence for the first time and liking the products I'd tried, I really wanted to try some more products from Essence so I decided to pick up some items from Wilko and today I'm going to share with you what I chose in my very first Essence haul.

The first thing I picked up is one of the Gel nail polishes in the shade True Love (number 10)

True Love is a gorgeous shade and one that is perfect for autumn/winter, I love wearing red polish in the autumn/winter months and I thought this was a lovely shade, if you would like to buy it you can find it on the Wilko website for £1.60.

Next up I chose another one of the Gel nail polishes called Frozen Kiss (Number 42)

I was instantly drawn to this polish it is a beautiful white/silver sparkly polish and I have an idea of how I'm going to use it but I think it would also look stunning over white nails for a Christmassy look or maybe used as a sparkly top coat over other shades too, I can't wait to use it, you can find Frozen Kiss on the Wilko website for £1.60.

Next I picked up 3 items that I am going to use to create a French Manicure, I have used the same products for years to create a French Manicure but I saw these items and thought I'd give them a try since they were so much cheaper than the products I usually use.

First of all I chose the Essence Beautifying Polish in the shade 02 a pale peachy/nude shade ideal for the base of my French Manicure.

This polish was slightly more expensive than the gel polishes at £1.80 and for some reason isn't available to buy online but it is available to buy in store at Wilko.

Next I chose the french manicure white tip painter manicure and pedicure pen.

I have used a pen to paint the tips of my nails white for years when creating a french manicure but the pen I usually buy is £5.00 so when I saw this one for £1.50 I had to try it, unfortunately I cannot find the exact same product online so I'm not sure if the packaging has changed or this is a slightly different product but I found this white tip painter on the Wilko website for £1.50 and it does sound exactly the same.

Last but by no means least I chose the Essence Nail Polish Corrector Pen, I find these pens so handy when creating a French Manicure.

These pens are ideal for cleaning up any mistakes when applying the white tips or any other mistakes I might make and for when applying any nail polish at all, usually they are quite expensive but I saw this one for £2.70 and thought I'd give it a go, you can find it on the Wilko website for £2.70.

So that's my first ever Essence haul, I will of course be back with NOTD (nail of the day) posts using all the products I picked up, in my NOTD posts I show which polish I am wearing but I also have a review of that polish telling you how it applied and how well it wore etc so keep an eye out for those posts coming soon.

I did want to pick up some of the lip liners and lipsticks but the ones I wanted weren't available, it wasn't a huge display which is a shame but most Essence products are available on the Wilko website so it's easy to pick them up. It is free to have orders delivered to a Wilko store,  standard delivery is £4.00 and premium and large item delivery is £8.00.

Thank you for reading, much love as always
