The last 4 months of 2015 have been filled with the some of the hardest things I've ever had to face in my life, I thought 2014 was the worst year of my life until September 2015 rolled round and from then on everything just went wrong, but you don't want to read all about my woes so I am going to round up the best bits of my 2015 and share with you some photographs too.
2015 brought me a lot of sadness, worry and upset but it also brought me some lovely things too, I was so proud of Cole in January when she travelled to London alone and found her way to very important meetings and then stayed over for 2 nights in a hotel, this might not seem much of an achievement for a then 23 year old but Cole has Aspergers and until very recently wouldn't ever have been able to travel even locally so this was a massive milestone for her and something I am very proud of. Coles freelance business continues to go from strength to strength, she is an extremely talented make up artist and we are very proud of her, her talent blows me away.
In February it was my birthday and as a treat my lovely family took me to the Coronation Street tour, I am a HUGE corrie fan as you may already be aware and it was an amazing day, I also got to ring last orders in the bar of the Rovers because it was my birthday, it really was a fabulous day.
Lissy turned 18 in March and held an amazing party for all her friends and family, it was a fantastic night and so wonderful to see her enjoying herself with the people she loves the most. It was a really special weekend and Lissy loved it from her party to her gifts including 2 DVD's I made for her one with messages from all her friends including her best friend Megan who lives in Austrailia and another one with photographs of her from me being pregnant up to the present day, Lissy loved the DVD's and it was lovely to watch them with her on the morning of her 18th birthday.
I took my blog a lot more seriously in 2015, I have had my blog for around 3 years now but it was always a sideline to my you tube channel but in March/April time I began to enjoy blogging much more and put a lot more effort into it and I am still really enjoying blogging now and now blog 5 times a week, I made some new friends through blogging in 2015, some of who it feels I've known all my life and have become very close friends and who I'd be lost without. I also saw my lovely friend Emma a few times throughout 2015 and hopefully will see her a lot more in 2016 too, I was introduced to Emma through my friend khila as they were already friends over 2 and a half years ago now, Khila thought we'd get on well and we did! Emma is lovely and one of my closest friends, I'd be lost without her and just wish she lived closer to me. Speaking of friends I also saw lovely Laura in 2015, Laura lives far away from me so I don't see her as much as I'd like but I did get to see her a couple of times throughout 2015 and it was lovely.
2015 also brought me together with some of my blogging friends which was lovely, I met Kim for the first time in 2015, Kim is one of Emma's friends and she is fabulous, I love her, she is such a nice person and makes me laugh so much, I really hope to see much more of her in 2016, I also met Leah in 2015, she was at an event with Emma and Kim in Manchester so they met me and Lissy for a coffee and a chat and it was lovely to finally meet Leah and it meant I got to see Emma again too. I also met up with Jodes in September with Lissy which was lovely and in the summer I met my lovely friend Nicola with Lissy and we had a lovely day together. So I have met up with lots of my friends who all live all over the country during 2015, I have made so many lovely friends since having my blog some of which I have yet to meet and I'm hoping 2016 will be the year I meet some more or all of the friends I have yet to meet.
In June 2015 I appeared on live TV, it still sounds really strange saying that out loud, I had a fabulous time and was on a chat show talking about the topics on social media that day, it was a surreal experience but one I loved and will never forget, I also met the lovely Chyaz that day who is the presenter of the chat show I was on, we became friends and have kept in touch ever since, she is one of the nicest people I have met.
In August 2015 I had 2 lovely experiences, first of all Lissy did fantastically well in her A Levels achieving an A*, A and a B, she worked so hard and deserved to do well, we found out she actually got full marks in her sociology A Level which I'm told is rare and very hard to so proud mamma moment for sure! I also went on a fabulous family holiday to Greece in August, I do have a full blog post about my holiday here if you would like to read more about it and see lots of photographs. I had an amazing time spending 2 weeks with my lovely family in the sun, it was incredible and I have some incredible memories that will stay with me forever.
In September Lissy started her uni course and is loving it so far, she has made some fantastic friends and is loving her course, she really is loving uni life. Hannah turned 16 in September and had a surprise birthday party which she loved, she is growing up into a beautiful young lady both inside and out and I am proud to be her "adopted mamma" her mum would be so proud of her, she is doing well at school and got brilliant results in her recent mock exams and is a fabulous young lady who I love very much.
One of the last great things to happen in 2015 was that in December Simon got a new job which he starts early January, he will still be working with children doing the same job but at a different place, so a new year and new start for Simon and he is really looking forward to it.
Here is a collage of a few of the photographs of my 2015 roundup, there are photos meeting friends, the corrie tour, Lissy getting her results, pics of Coles Halloween makeup, me and Hannah, our holiday, me being on TV and lots more, I didn't want to bombard you with too many photographs but this little collage shows just some of my favourite things to happen in 2015.
I hope you enjoyed reading my 2015 roundup and enjoyed me sharing a few of my highlights from 2015, it is so hard looking back to remember everything especially when things have been so hard recently too, but Simon has a new job to look forward to and hopefully 2016 will bring some happiness and some good luck too.
I would like to also say a huge thank you to everyone who has read my blog throughout 2015 and all who have followed it too, it means the world to me to have your support and I can't think of anyone better to share my life with, thank you so much it really does mean the world to me to have your support and kindness.
Thank you also for all your support concerning my health problems and recent diagnosis, I still have appointments to attend and will keep you updated but it is so lovely to have the support and kindness from you all, it means the world to me.
