Hello Lovelies

Today's post is very highly requested and as you will have already gathered from the title of the post and the above image this is my "what I got for Christmas" post, I love to read these posts myself I find they give me inspiration when it comes to buying gifts for other people and I also often find myself adding things to my wish list that I've seen on these type of posts and since Christmas day I have been asked a lot if I will share with you what I got and today I am going to do that, so here is what I got for Christmas.

I did also receive some money from my parents and other family members but I have not taken a photograph of that for obvious reasons.

I received some beautiful items of make up and cannot wait to try it all. One of my best friends kindly bought me the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette and The Balm Mary Lou Manizer highlight, I was so excited when I opened these because I have never tried anything from either The Balm or Too Faced and they both look stunning.

I also got some make up from my lovely girls, they got me the Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde plus a ABH Brow Brush to go with it with a spoolie on one end and an angled brush on the other end, Lissy uses the ABH dip brow and loves it and I have wanted to try it for a long time so I was so excited to received those.

The girls also got me 2 of the Love Flush blushes from Too Faced, if you have been reading my blog for a while you'll know I adore anything heart shaped, my mum always says it's because I am a Valentines baby and she might be right but I love heart shaped things and I love blush so these are perfect! To go with the blushes the girls also bought me a MAC 109 brush, I have wanted this brush for so long, it is a beautiful brush for applying blush or contour and feels so soft.

The last make up item I received from the girls is the MAC Lip Erase, this is a product that I have wanted to try for a long time, it basically erases the colour of your lips so the lip product you are wearing is true to colour, I can't wait to try this.

Nail Polish

I love nail polish and was so excited to receive so many new polishes to try. Coles boyfriend Chris kindly bought me the Essie It's Cold Outside gift set containing 4 polishes which are Mademoiselle, Chinchilly, Toggle To The Top and Belugaria, he also got a free gift of 3 mini Essie polishes when he bought the gift set and gave me those too which I was very excited about and in the mini gift set the polishes are Shall We Order, Haute Tub and Virgin Snow.

Simon bought me the OPI nail polish in Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, I have wanted that polish for so long and it is always sold out so I was super happy to receive that, Simon also got me the Mariah Carey OPI set with 3 OPI polishes in which are My Favourite Ornament, Visions Of Love and I Snow You Love Me and he also got me the China Glaze polish in Fairy Dust which is one of my favourites.

My mum and dad as I said kindly gave me some money but they also bought me a couple of things to open and one of those things was the Leighton Denney nail polish in Angel Dust which is my favourite glitter nail polish ever, it is beautiful.

My lovely friend Ashleigh kindly bought me an Illamasqua nail polish in the shade Devotee which is gorgeous and a definite Zoe shade and I can't wait to use it.

The girls bought me a gorgeous fluffy love heart bag charm which can also be used as a keyring but I am going to put it on my bag, it's gorgeous and right up my street. The girls also bought me 2 gorgeous long line necklaces from Accessorize one silver with small silver disc detailing and one gold with black tassels and beading detailing and both are lovely, I wear a lot of plain black and both of these will look lovely with lots of my outfits.

The other thing I got to open from my mum and dad is these gorgeous faux sheepskin gloves from Marks and Spencer, they are so snuggly and perfect because my hands are always cold and my usual £1 Primark gloves haven't been keeping my hands warm so these will be perfect.

The girls also bought me these gorgeous bear socks from Accessorize and these beautiful bear bed socks from Next, bears are very special to me, Simon and the girls and these are perfect and really cute.

Purse & Make Up Bags

My lovely friend Emma kindly bought me this fabulous make up bag with a black sparkly letter Z on it and the gorgeous Radley coin purse, I love anything with my name or initials on because when I was little it was so hard to get things with Zoe or a Z on as it was then quite an unusual name and even now things with initials on often stop at W or Y so I was thrilled with my make up bag, it's a brilliant size too and will fit loads in. I love the Radley purse too, I love the brand and always look at their purses online so I was super pleased to receive this, it's a great size and it has a little strap inside with a clasp on so I can attach it to the inside of my handbag too if I want to, I love them both and can't wait to use them.

Another makeup bag I got is this Ted Baker one that the girls bought me, it's a lovely colour and has a glittery bow on the front, it's a great size too. The girls bought it me because I've needed a bag to keep my make up brushes in for a while now and they thought this would be perfect, I am so pleased to have got 2 make up bags as I really needed them, I didn't have an everyday make up bag big enough or a bag for my brushes and now I have both so I'm really pleased.

Other Beauty Items

The girls bought me this fabulous Beauty Blender "Make ups Best Friend" set containing 3 Beauty Blenders and a re activate spray, it contains the original beauty blender and a black beauty blender to use with self tanners, bronzers, long wearing make up etc and a small green beauty blender to use with concealers, highlighters and contouring products and it also contains a spray to spray the beauty blenders with to dampen them. I was really pleased to receive this as I have wanted to try a Beauty Blender for a long time, I have a Real Techniques sponge which I use at the moment to apply foundation but I have heard so many good things about the Beauty Blender and wanted to try one, so I was really pleased to get this set, the green one is so cute too!

One of my best friends bought me the Glam Glow Thirsty Mud mask and I was absolutely thrilled, I have wanted to try the Glam Glow mask for absolutely ages and always look in the sales on line but have never ever bought one so when I opened this I was thrilled, I have super dry skin which at the moment is awful so I cannot wait to try this.

Some Other Things I Got

My lovely friend Ashleigh also got me this amazing illustration and a mirror for my handbag which says "believe in yourself" and a keyring saying "for fox sake" on it, I absolutely love all 3 things, the illustration is perfect and I am currently in the process of finding a frame for it, the mirror is the perfect size for my handbag and I love the quote and the keyring made me laugh so much and will keep me smiling now it's on my keys and I can see it all the time, I love gifts like these and these are perfect.

The girls also bought me a Skinny Dip phone case with sheep on, I love the Skinny Dip cases and this one makes me smile, it is so cute and I love it. Simon bought me the "Little Miss Blogger" mug which I love, one of my blog readers and friends Danielle had showed me this mug and I loved it, it's perfect for me and I love it.

Another very naughty gift from my girls are these GHD Arctic Gold hair straighteners, just before Christmas my beloved Cloud 9 straighteners broke and I was devastated, they were the best straighteners I had ever used and I was so sad when they broke, Lissy had been using her GHD's to straighten my hair since mine broke and when I opened these I was blown away and couldn't believe it, I've never had a pair of GHD's of my own and am so so grateful to own these, they are lovely and I still can't believe they're mine!

One Last Gift

The last gift I have to show you is actually a joint gift for me and Simon off the girls and something I wanted to tell you about, when we opened it it blew us away and we both cried buckets.

We opened this card, it was a handmade moon pig card with all our photographs on and said Merry Christmas Mamma and Pappy on it and when we opened it there was another small envelope in it that says Mamma and Pappy on the front and this is what the card said inside.

How amazing is that? We were both absolutely blown away, we cried buckets and were completely overwhelmed by our girls kindness and thoughtfulness, they are such lovely girls and we are so proud of them both. We usually get money for Christmas from my parents and we do always end up using it for bills or grocery shopping and the girls have obviously realised this and they want us to have a treat and especially after the 2015 we had which was absolutely awful. They spoil us completely at Christmas and birthday and we always say please don't go mad but they do and when we said it before Christmas they said that it's twice a year when they can spoil us and they like doing it bless them they are very generous and kind but we do always tell them not to go mad, they clearly never listen bless them. I wanted to include the card and show you even though it is a joint gift with Simon, it is such a lovely gift and I wanted to share it with you, we are so incredibly proud of our girls they are amazing and very kind and thoughtful girls.

So those are all the gifts I received for Christmas, I was well and truly spoilt and am so incredibly grateful to all my friends and family for the lovely gifts I received and the money off my parents and other family members too. I really am very very lucky and appreciate everything so much. I have said thank you to everyone who bought me a gift but if you are one of the people who bought me a gift and you're reading this, thank you ever so much, I love and appreciate every single one, thank you.

I am going to be writing posts on the make up, nail polish and other beauty items I received as I thought you might like to see swatches and photographs of them and if theres any items you'd like to see before others please let me know, I am so excited to try all my make up and nail polishes and other beauty products, I am a very lucky girl!

Let me know in the comments what you got for Christmas I'd love to know and if you are a blogger and have a post on what you got for Christmas please leave a link to it in the comments so I can go and read it and others who like these type of posts can too.

Thank you for reading, much love as always
