It's a well known fact that I love nail polishes, in every haul post I write there's a polish or top coat of some description. For the last couple of years my nails have been very strong and I have always put that down to the medication I take, but over the last couple of months I've been having problems with my nails breaking a lot and it's really been getting me down because my nails seemed to have become very weak, just as I was despairing I received 3 nail treatments from Nail HQ to try which was perfect timing, I have been using them ever since.
Nail HQ Hardener
The Nail HQ Hardener is designed to toughen and protect the nails, it prevents nail brittleness and splitting to promote nail growth, it contains collagen and a unique mineral complex infused with calcium, iron, magnesium, aluminium and manganese. I apply the nail hardener to my nails as a base coat before my nail polish, it can be worn alone too if you prefer and gives the appearance of a clear polish if worn alone but I prefer to use it as a base coat and wear my polish over the top. I have found since using the Nail HQ Hardener under my polish as a base coat that my polish lasts longer too which is a great bonus. The brush on the hardener is a wide brush meaning one stroke is all you need to coat the nail, the consistency is quite thick but it doesn't affect the drying time of the hardener and doesn't feel gloopy either. I've used this as a base for my polish the last few times I've painted my nails and I've definitely noticed a difference in my nails, they are much stronger. My eldest daughter has been using the hardener too and she said her nails are feeling better and stronger and she noticed her polish lasts longer when she uses it too.
Nail HQ Protect & Repair
The Nail HQ Protect & Repair is formulated for weak and soft nails and contains root ginger, rice protein, soy protein and hydrolysed collagen, it also contains water to help hydrate and moisturise which helps with the nail flexibility. This product is applied to clean nails and has the appearance of a clear polish, a new coat is applied every day for 5 days and then the protect & repair is removed with nail polish remover and the process repeated, the brush is an average sized brush and the product is easy to apply. I really liked this product and I could see a real difference after just 5 days, my nails felt stronger and had grown a lot in such a short space of time, I was really impressed with it.
Nail HQ Hydrating Primer
The Nail HQ Hydrating Primer is a dual action hydrating primer formulated to help provide hydrating and nourishing ingredients directly to the nails. It contains pentavitin which is a moisture magnet with a unique biotin and calcium complex to cleanse and prepare the nails before the application of false nails or polish. The brush is a very thin brush but I didn't have any problems applying the product to my nails, I have used the primer before polish quite a few times, it's nice to know that my nails are being correctly prepared for polish and this is a step I'll definitely continue when painting my nails. This would be an excellent product if you use false nails or if you have gel nails at a salon or if you do them yourself at home or if you have acrylics because they can all damage the nails making them brittle applying this first would be great.
I have been really impressed with all 3 of the Nail HQ products I've tried, Nail HQ have several other nail care and nail treatment products all of which sound great and I'd love to try more Nail HQ products especially their gel top coat, I am always on the look out for the perfect gel effect top coat and if theirs is a good as these 3 products I'll be a happy bunny.
I have definitely noticed a really big difference in my nails since using the Nail HQ products, the Protect & Repair made a huge difference to my nails after just 5 days of using it, I've used similar and more expensive products in the past that haven't made any difference at all but I was seriously impressed by it. The Hardener is brilliant and my nails feel so much more strong and my polish lasts a lot longer too which is an added bonus. When I use the Primer I know my nails are prepped in the best possible way before applying my polish and the products have become a part of my manicure every time now, I really like them and would highly recommend them. I didn't think I would see such brilliant results in such a short space of time but after using the products for just a week I could really tell my nails were in much better condition, I've been using the products for around a month now and over the last 2-3 weeks I have had to file my nails down before painting them because they have been too long and I haven't had a broken nail since using the products. I am super impressed and would highly recommend the Nail HQ products.
