The Wet Brush

The Wet Brush

Hello Lovelies

You may have seen in my January Fashion & Beauty Haul post that I purchased a Wet Brush. I have have been losing my hair for quite some time now and I seem to lose the most hair when it is brushed and more so when my hair is brushed when it is wet. I'd read that the Wet Brush is designed to help with hair loss amongst other things because it doesn't pull at the hair when it's brushed so thought I'd give it a try and of course chose the hot pink one.

What Wet Brush Says About The Wet Brush

The Wet Brush's Intelliflex™ bristles are super thin, strong and flexible. These bristles will glide through any hair type combing out tangles effortlessly.

The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling while the SofTips™ on the very top of the bristles massage the scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle.

They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp.

Our IntelliFlex™ bristles bounce back to their original form after each stroke eliminating all the hair breakage and pain that used to be associated with brushing your hair.

The Wet Brush can be used on wet or dry hair and works on extensions and wigs.

My Thoughts

I really like the brush and it does brush through my hair with ease, my hair for some reason is very hard to brush through when it is wet but it is easier to brush through with the Wet Brush than other brushes I have used. I wouldn't go as far to say it glides through my hair initially because my hair does usually resemble a birds nest after it has been washed but it is easier to get through those first few difficult strokes and once those are de tangled it does glide through my hair but more importantly I don't appear to be losing as much hair as I was with the brush I was using before which was the Tangle Tamer

I don't have my hair blow dried into any particular style it is just brushed through when wet and then blasted off with the hair dryer whilst being brushed through with the Wet Brush but another thing I have noticed is my hair is much more straight after it's been dried like that than when it was dried in the same way using the Tangle Tamer or any other brushes meaning my hair requires less straightening when using the Wet Brush.

The Wet Brush

Overall I am really pleased with the Wet Brush and I do seem to be losing less hair when my hair is brushed which is brilliant. My hair is very thin and falls out a lot so hopefully continuing to use the Wet Brush will help to lessen the amount of hair I lose. I would also recommend the Wet Brush if you have particularly knotted hair or if you are hair sore or have children who are, when my hair is dry the Wet brush slides through effortlessly and once my wet hair has been brushed through the initial "luggy bits" it brushes through my wet hair effortlessly too and I don't find it hurts at all even when my hair is wet and in it's birds nest state, the Wet Brush is a really great brush and I'm so glad I gave it a try.

If you would like to try the Wet Brush you can find it on the Boots website HERE for £11.99, the Look Fantastic website HERE for £11.99 including delivery or the Just My Look website HERE for £8.95 including delivery which is a brilliant price.
