Instant Whites 7 Day Teeth Whitening KitTuesday, September 27, 2016
It seems everyone and their wife is whitening their teeth lately and I see a lot of teeth whitening review posts on blogs, I am always dubious about buying teeth whitening products in case they don't work after once ordering some whitening strips off ebay and them doing absolutely nothing apart from give me extremely sensitive teeth, but I would like whiter teeth and am always looking at products and reviews of products to give me that Hollywood smile, so when I received the Instant Whites 7 Day Whitening System I was intrigued to see if it would work.
Because I wanted to include before and after photographs in this post and my youngest daughter has beautiful teeth I asked her if she would mind being my guinea pig and trying out the kit for me and if she could take some before and after shots of her teeth, and she very kindly obliged.
The whitening kit comes in a pale blue box showing one of the swabs on the front and on the back is some information on the kit and instructions of how to use it.
The swabs are housed in a plastic container with 7 swab sticks in, the swabs are easy to remove from the container but when it came to using the swabs the instructions weren't very clear and it took my daughter Alicia a while to work out exactly how to use the swabs, the only instructions are on the back of the box too so there aren't any in depth or step by step instructions or illustrations which I thought would have been more helpful.
The Instant White 7 Day Kit are 7 liquid filled swabs which are peroxide free and work on all tooth surfaces such as natural teeth, veneers, caps, crowns, dentures and bonding. Instant Whites claim that the kit gives both long and short term results and that consumers can results after the first 5 minutes and in 7 days their teeth will be 9 shades whiter.
To use the swabs it says in the instructions to hold the swab upright, collapse both ends and the swab tip will become moist with the liquid. Now maybe it's us but both myself and my daughter were a bit perplexed by this and thought maybe we bend the ends off but you actually have to press gently on the end of the tube where the liquid is and push the tube and the liquid comes out of the top of the swab. Alicia pushed gently so she could release a little bit of a liquid at a time for each tooth, if you press too hard on the end of the tube the liquid spills out everywhere. Once the swab has the liquid on it you then rub the swab over each tooth for 10-20 seconds or 5 minutes covering all the teeth, once all the teeth are covered you rinse your mouth out with warm water and then repeat the process every day for 7 days.
As you can see Alicia has naturally white teeth anyway but she said she did want them to be whiter and she also had some staining from drinking coffee she wanted to get rid of.
The photographs don't really do the results justice which is a shame and the lighting was inevitably different in each photograph which can't be helped but Alicia is really happy with the results and her teeth do look lovely and white and it is now 2 weeks since she finished the treatment and her teeth are still exactly as they were at the end of the 7 days which is brilliant. The coffee staining Alicia was concerned about completely disappeared so she is very happy about that and she said that looked a lot better after just one use and she started to see a noticeable difference to the whiteness of her teeth after day 3 or 4, Alicia said her teeth are around 4 shades whiter after the treatment and I agree, they do look noticeably whiter, they aren't 9 shades whiter as the kit claims but to be fair, Alicia's teeth were white to start with so I think the results she's had considering how white her teeth were to start with is brilliant and she is very happy.
The Instant Whites Teeth Whitening Kit is really good, once Alicia established how to use the swabs they were easy to use and it is a really quick, easy and painless way of whitening your teeth, much better than sitting with strips on and myself and Alicia found it much more effective too. As I said Alicia did have lovely teeth to start with but there is a very noticeable difference to the whiteness of her teeth and the staining has all gone, proving the kit works really well and had Alicia's teeth been less white to start with I think she would have had a result of more than 4 shades difference but I think 4 shades is a brilliant result considering how white her teeth were to start and after 2 weeks the results are still noticeable.
The kit is easy to use, doesn't take much time to use, and didn't leave Alicia with any sensitivity to her teeth at all, I think it would be brilliant to use before a special occasion such as a wedding or a prom or any occasion or if you just want to whiten your teeth anytime, it's a great kit and both myself and Alicia would recommend it.
Please note this kit is not suitable for use to people under 16 years of age (or advised by a dentist) or pregnant and nursing women.
The kit is £29.99 and available to purchase at Boots here.
