Diamond Whites Back Edition - Tooth Polish

Hello Lovelies

When I was asked if I would like to try a tooth whitening product from the company Diamond Whites, I envisaged a toothpaste or some strips, that kind of thing. So when the Black Diamond Edition 100% natural charcoal tooth polish arrived I was very intrigued and also excited to try it since I hadn't ever seen anything like it before.

Diamond Whites Black Edition tooth polish is made from 100% activated coconut shell charcoal, and not only does it whiten teeth, it also strengthen gums, removes toxins from your mouth and absorbs bacteria, for a cleaner, whiter smile.

The packaging of the tooth polish is a black plastic screw top pot that has a plastic pull off cover over the charcoal to stop it spilling out when you remove the lid. On the back of the pot are the instructions, the instructions are,

✿ Gently dip your wet tooth brush into the powder.

✿ Gently brush your teeth in small circular motions.

✿ Rinse well and spit carefully into the sink.

It also says on the pot "be careful, as it can be messy"

Using the Black Edition tooth polish.

The first time I used the tooth polish I didn't know what to expect, I haven't ever used a product like this before but I was excited to use it. I dipped my wet brush into the powder and brushed my teeth using small circular motions as instructed, the polish doesn't taste of anything really, I don't know what I expected but it really hasn't got a taste, it just feels powdery as you would expect and a little bit gritty but it isn't unpleasant at all.

My mouth was completely black, teeth, lips, tongue, everything, once I'd finished brushing I rinsed my mouth out as normal, it does take longer to rinse than when using my normal toothpaste but I assumed it would since my whole mouth was black, I rinsed until my saliva was clear (sorry TMI) and in a strange way it felt good to know that my mouth was being rid of bacteria and toxins whilst my teeth were hopefully going to soon be whiter than before.

Results

There aren't any details of how many times a week to use the tooth polish, so I have been using it at least twice a week and sometimes 3 times a week and have been using my usual toothpaste in between. I have noticed the staining on my teeth has reduced and they do look whiter, I don't have a Simon Cowell smile just yet but I do drink a lot of Pepsi Max, I can see the difference since using the polish though and I am happy with the results so far, my daughter has also used the polish and she said she could see a difference too. When I run my tongue along my teeth after using the tooth polish, they feel very smooth and clean and much nicer than when I've just used my regular toothpaste.

I think the tooth polish will last a long time since I am only dipping my brush into it and even if I used it daily it would last me months so it is good value for money for a good tooth whitening product as some tooth whitening products can be expensive. The only negative about the tooth polish is the mess it makes, it says on the back of the pot that it can be messy and it can, I open it very carefully now and am careful when I dip my brush in other wise I find the powder all over my white sink, I do have to swill my sink out after using the tooth polish but it's not a huge deal and I always wash the sink out after brushing my teeth anyway, but it can be messy especially the first time you use it.

If you like to use teeth whitening products I would definitely give the tooth polish a try, it's really different, but it has made a difference and I am looking forward to seeing the results when I have been using it for a longer period of time, it leaves my teeth and mouth feeling very clean and is going to last me a long time, I am really pleased with it, apart from me looking like the wicked witch of the west whilst using it!

If you would like to try the Diamond Whites Black Edition tooth polish, you can find it on the Diamond Whites website here priced at £16.99.
