L'Or Des Pharaons Face And Body Mist ReviewTuesday, November 29, 2016
I love trying out new skincare products and it could be said that I am
a bit of a lot of a skincare geek so when I received the L'Or Des Pharaons Face & Body Mist I was eager to start using it, I have been using it for around 4 weeks now and wanted to share my thoughts on it with you all.
What L'Or Des Pharaons Claims
Face & Body Mist – Purified and revitalised water containing monatomic, diatomic and nanoclusters of pure platinum and pure zinc. No allergens, no chemicals.
Ever since the beginnings of time, gold has been considered a gift from the gods to stay young, healthy and beautiful. In Ancient Egypt, the Gold of the Pharaohs was used for face masks to preserve the skin, while monatomic gold was used to rejuvenate and extend human lifespan. This is the true value of gold.
L’Or des Pharaons (Gold of the Pharaohs) is a facial and body mist, researched and developed from ancient manuscripts, combined with today’s technology on the use and extraction of Nano gold, platinum and zinc. The particles are small enough to pass through cell membranes for optimum absorption and efficacy.
Applied on skin before make-up and creams, L’Or des Pharaons’ pure ingredients are absorbed deep into the skin layers. Thus the revitalisation is deep and lasting. L’Or des Pharaons combats the visible signs of aging at cellular level and helps rejuvenate your skin – defying the effects of time.
My Thoughts - Packaging, Application, Results
The face and body mist comes in a spray bottle which is dark blue in colour, the colour of the bottle does mean I can't actually see how much product is left in the bottle, it isn't a major problem but it is worth mentioning in case that sort of thing bothers you.
The spray applicator is easy to use and sprays a nice even mist, I hate it when facial mists spray in a really fast and uneven way but the spray is even and gentle.
I have very sensitive and eczema prone skin so I was pleased to see the mist doesn't contain any chemicals or allergens and I am pleased to report that after 4 weeks of using the mist, I haven't had any problems with irritation or inflammation at all.
The directions of use are to use the mist underneath makeup and creams, so I have been cleansing my face as normal and then spritzing with the mist and applying the rest of my skincare products and then spritzing again before applying my makeup. The mist sinks into my skin nicely and doesn't leave any residue on the skin and doesn't feel oily at all, it feels just like water, the mist has no scent at all and the consistency is like that of water.
As I said I have been using the face and body mist for just over 4 weeks now, unfortunately I haven't seen any anti ageing benefits to my skin at all, the mist feels nice and refreshing on the skin and hasn't irritated my skin, but it hasn't improved my skin at all either. The only thing I have noticed is that I had surgery a week ago and thought I would start to get some breakouts with being run down but I haven't and I have wondered if maybe that is down to the zinc in the face and body mist as zinc is great for breakouts so that could be the reason I haven't had any following my op, but apart from not getting any breakouts following my surgery, I unfortunately cannot see any other benefits which is a shame because it's not been a bad product to use.
The L'Or Des Pharaons Face & Body mist is priced at £40.00 and if you would like to try it, you can find it on the Health Factory website here.
