Crabtree & Evelyn - La Source Range

Hello Lovelies

You may have seen on my Instagram account in mid February that I was sent some gorgeous hand creams and biscuits from Crabtree & Evelyn. I used to be a big hand cream wearer and lover during my nursing career as I was constantly washing my hands and wore a lot of latex gloves which are very drying, hand cream was a must, but since being medically retired I got out of the habit of both buying and wearing hand cream, but after using the Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams I received in February and loving them, I have a new found love of hand cream.

So when I received some more products from the new La Source range from Crabtree & Evelyn, I couldn't wait to try them all, I have been using the products for around 6 weeks or so now and thought it was about time I shared my thoughts on the products with you. The products I received are the La Source Overnight Hand Therapy, La Source Warming Foot Smoother and the La Source Nail & Cuticle Therapy.

About The La Source Range

The La Source collection draws inspiration from the restorative powers of the sea around us, and is carefully designed to restore, condition and rejuvenate the skin from head to toe. Formulated with a blend of ingredients such as underwater algae, mineral salts and seaweeds the products in this collection allow you to escape everyday life and immerse yourself in spa-like rituals.

La Source Overnight Hand Therapy - £19.00 75g

Crabtree & Evelyn - La Source Overnight Hand Therapy

The Overnight Hand Therapy is an intensive treatment, it contains concentrated complex of vitamins and amino acids including arginine which enhances the skins natural barrier, maintains it's moisture levels and soothes dryness.

The Overnight Hand Therapy is thicker than a regular Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream but it isn't too thick, it rubs in and absorbs well and doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy or sticky. I apply the hand cream once I'm in bed and have removed my rings, it has a lovely scent to it, nice and fresh but not over powering, In the morning my hands feel lovely and soft and smooth.

Crabtree & Evelyn - La Source Warming Foot Smoother

La Source Warming Foot Smoother - £17.00 150g

Crabtree & Evelyn - La Source Warming Foot Smoother

The La Source Warming Foot Smoother is a 3 in 1 exfoliating and moisturising foot treatment, it contains volcanic sand, fine pumice and salt crystals for exfoliating, shea butter and glycerin for moisturising and is rich in anti oxidants. It again has a lovely fresh scent to it.

The foot smoother feels like a bit of a treat product for me, I struggle with my feet due to one of my health problems and I used to have regular pedicures but unfortunately I am unable to at the moment, but I am very lucky and my girls will treat me to a DIY pedicure at home, and the foot smoother is lovely for those times. The cream is applied to dampened feet and rubbed in, as soon as it is rubbed in, it begins to warm and feels lovely and luxurious, the cream is grey in colour and feels gritty but it doesn't hurt when it is rubbed into the feet. Once the cream has been massaged into my feet, it is then rinsed off and my feet dried and they are left feeling lovely and soft.

Simon also noticed that after applying the cream for me and washing his hands, they felt really soft so the hands benefit whilst using it too. This will be a great product for ensuring my tootsies are sandal ready for the summer.

La Source Nail & Cuticle Therapy - £10.00 15g

The Nail & Cuticle Therapy contains shea butter and glycerin to soften and moisturise and panthenol to promote strong, healthy nails. The cuticle therapy prevents nails breaking and fraying and is rich in anti oxidants, including green seaweed extract and red sea algae which help nails to be glossy and healthy.

I use the cuticle therapy at least 2-3 times a week and I have noticed my nails are stronger and feel healthier, I had quite a few DIY gel manicures one after another and they left my nails very weak and they kept breaking and peeling. I have been using the cuticle therapy and massaging into both my cuticles and nails for the last few weeks and I have noticed a big difference in my nails, they are much stronger and have grown. I had a gel manicure 2 weeks ago and removed the gel yesterday as I write this post, but my nails do not feel weak at all and they usually would after a gel manicure but they feel strong, so much so I am going to apply another gel polish.

Overall Thoughts On The La Source Products

I really like all the products I have been trying from the La Source range, I think my favourite has to be the Nail & Cuticle Therapy but I do love all things nails so it's not really a surprise. The overnight hand cream is a product I really didn't think I'd like as much as I do, but it is lovely and I use it a lot more than I thought I would, the foot smoother is lovely and it is nice to have this applied, the warming sensation is really nice and feels very luxurious, it feels like I'm at the salon having a pedicure. All the products smell incredible and very fresh, it is a lovely range and I will definitely check out the other products in the La Source range, and if the products I have shared with you today aren't really your thing, the La Source collection has so many amazing different products within the range, you're bound to like something.

Prices start from £7.00 and go up to £37.00 and there are lots of different items available. If you would like to try the products I have shared with you today, or any of the other products available from the range, you can find the La Source range here.
