The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter

Today I have the first of my Christmas Gift Guide posts for 2017 and kicking off my 2017 gift idea's post is the Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter £15.00 200ml.

I love The Body Shop body butters and as soon as I received this one with it's festive packaging, I knew it would be perfect for my gift guide posts, The Body Shop have a fantastic range of body butters which come in 2 sizes 50ml and 200ml, the 50ml body butters are priced at £6.00 and the 200ml at £15.00 and they come in a variety of different scents, there are some other scents with the festive packaging which are Frosted Berries, Frosted Plum and Vanilla Chai but there are over 20 different scents available, so lots to choose from.

When I first saw the scent of the body butter was Vanilla Pumpkin, I was a little dubious given my only experience of a pumpkin scent is from the many years spent pumpkin carving with the girls at Halloween and then that awful burning pumpkin scent you sometimes get when the pumpkin lantern is lit, so not great memories of a pumpkin scent. However, when I opened the lid I was very pleasantly surprised to find it smelled absolutely gorgeous.

The Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter has a very slight peachy colour to it and is the usual rich, buttery consistency of all the Body Shop body butters, and it really does smell incredible. It has a sweet but slightly fruity scent to it that is stunning but not overpowering.

I have used body butters for many years they are fabulously hydrating for my super dry skin and brilliant for using after the shower, we always take at least one body butter with us on holiday as they are great for using after a day in the sun too.

The Vanilla Pumpkin body butter has the usual rich formula of all the Body Shop body butters and contains, Maple Syrup, Vanilla Extract from Madagasca, Pumpkin Fragrance, Tonka Bean and Hazelnut. As I said earlier it has a beautiful scent, it sinks into my very dry skin nicely and leaves my skin feeling super soft all day.

I am really impressed with the Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter and love it just as much as the other body butters in my collection, the festive packing is lovely too and I think The Body Shop Body Butters would make a lovely Christmas gift for anyone who either loves body butters or if they haven't ever tried them, there are a variety of scents to choose from and a little goes a long way so the smaller size would last a while if it's more suited to your budget and would also be great for a secret Santa gift or stocking filler, all the scents are available in both sizes and there are also body butter gift sets available too.

If you would like to pick up a body butter in either size or one of the gift sets as a treat for you or as a gift for someone else, you can find the full range on the Body Shop website
