A Cosy Christmas Home

Over the weekend the majority of the UK had heavy snow and with the snow comes freezing temperatures, when it's cold and snowy outside at this time of year, I love nothing more than being cosy and warm indoors and today I have some of my favourite things to keep me (and you) warm and are perfect for a cosy home this Christmas.

A Cosy Christmas Home

1. John Lewis Faux Fur Bean Bag in Grey (also available in Ivory) - £85.00

2. John Lewis Single Sheepskin Rug in Grey (available in 5 colours) - £35

3. Next Luxe Glimmer Cushion in Charcoal (available in 5 colours) - £20.00

4. Marks & Spencer Pom Pom Throw in Grey (available in 3 colours) - £69.00

5. Superdrug Sweet Snuggles Hot Water Bottle & Socks Gift Set - £10.00 (was £15.00)

6. Thomas Sanderson Cafe Style Window Shutters - Price Variable Depending On Design

As you can see there is a bit of a theme going on, we are loving grey at the moment and have been saving up to do some home improvements, grey is our base colour of choice, we are thinking of mixing other tones in such as some blush pink, but we love grey.

Simon sits on the floor a lot when he's watching TV so a bean bag is perfect for him, and the faux fur one looks so soft and cosy, the rug and cushions tie in nicely too and the cushions have sparkle running through them and you know I love me some sparkle. I also love pom poms and as soon as I saw the throw I was in love, the socks and hot water bottle are just perfect for being cosy at Christmas time. We have wanted shutters for some time now, but don't want to block any light out as our lounge is North facing and doesn't get any sun, these cafe style shutters are perfect for giving us some privacy, but we won't lose all the light.

What things do you like in your home to keep it cosy at Christmas? And what is your favourite thing out of the items I have chosen? Let me know in the comments below.
