A Bargain Nail Polish Remover With Pump Dispenser

A Bargain Nail Polish Remover With Pump Dispenser

Hello Lovelies,

Today's post is a little random and normally I wouldn't dedicate a whole post to a small pot of nail polish remover but I have been so impressed with it that I wanted to share it with you all.

I bought the Pretty Professional Nail Polish Remover back in the summer from a Bodycare store in Manchester Arndale and paid 99p for it and I have to say it is absolutely fantastic, it removes nail polish effortlessly and the pump dispenser is brilliant, I will definitely be purchasing more it really is a fantastic product. I bought the acetone free polish remover as acetone free polish remover is a lot kinder on the nails than an acetone polish remover but if you prefer acetone it is available, the packaging is pink on the acetone remover and as you can see purple on the acetone free.

A Bargain Nail Polish Remover With Pump Dispenser

A Bargain Nail Polish Remover With Pump Dispenser

The polish remover is so easy to use, the lid is a flip lid and then I press down a cotton pad on top of the dispenser and the nail polish remover is dispensed onto the cotton pad, I did wonder if the product would be good because of the price but it really is and removes glitter polishes with ease, and the spill proof bottle is brilliant. I am honestly so impressed with it I had to share it with you, this is too good to keep to myself!

I purchased my nail polish remover from Bodycare as I said but I have found the Pretty Nail Polish removers on eBay here for £2.49 including delivery, it is available in both acetone and acetone free, I do feel that is quite expensive for 70ml of product so if you don't want to pay £2.49 for the Pretty Nail Polish remover I also found 2 pump dispensers from eBay for £3.99 here including free delivery so you could share one with a friend or relative or keep both yourself and refill as often as you like with your favourite polish remover if you don't have a Bodycare store where you live or if you want a cheaper alternative to the Pretty Nail Polish remover.

I hope you've enjoyed my rather random post, I felt I had to share with you this great little product, I'm so impressed with it and think you would be too, you could also buy one as a stocking filler for someone as a Christmas gift for any nail lover or treat yourself too.

Have you tried the Pretty Nail Polish remover?

Thank you for reading, much love as always

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

Hello Lovelies,

It's no secret I'm a bit of a skin care geek and I love trying out new skin care products so when I received the Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser I couldn't wait to start using it.

What The Body Shop Claims

Say goodbye to grumpy, dull, fatigued looking skin with our Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser. This gel cream moisturiser helps:
  • Boost glow: Skin is clarified, revealing your natural healthy-looking glow
  • Energise: Fresh, lightweight formula fights signs of fatigue, with an invigorating fragrance
  • Hydrate: Infuses skin with juicy moisture
My Thoughts

My first impression of the moisturiser was how nice it felt, it has a lovely light gel like consistency that sinks into the skin beautifully. The scent of the moisturiser is a lovely fresh scent with a hint of orange, the orange isn't too overpowering as I don't like orange scent but this has a lovely scent to it that doesn't linger once the moisturiser has dried.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser

I wasn't sure the moisturiser would be rich enough for my very dry and dehydrated skin but it is lovely and my skin feels extremely soft and nourished, the Body Shop claims that the moisturiser gives the skin a healthy glow, I did find my skin looked radiant after using the moisturiser but I'm not sure it did anything for my "fatigued look" but I don't sleep much at all and look very tired all the time so I think it would take rocket fuel to help me to stop looking fatigued so I can't really comment on that aspect but my skin did look glowing and radiant.

I really like the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser and am really happy with the results I've had from it so far and would definitely recommend it, I have dry skin but I feel it could be light enough for a combination or oily skin too as the texture is so lovely and light but they hydrating properties are excellent.

If you would like to try the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser you can find it here on the Body Shop website for £16.00 per 50ml.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

Hello Lovelies,

Makeup Revolution have been around for just over 18 months but in that short space of time have launched some brilliant products, I recently reviewed their ultra blush and contour palette in Sugar and Spice (see that post here) today I am reviewing and sharing swatches with you on the Ultra Blush & Contour Palette In Golden Sugar.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

The Golden Sugar palette a mix of 8 blush, bronzer, contour and highlight shades which are all well pigmented, the palette is priced at just £6.00 meaning each shade works out at 75pence per shade. The packaging is sleek and sturdy and has a large mirror which I love and makes the palette ideal for travelling as not only does it have a variety of shades it also has a brilliant sized mirror meaning I wouldn't need to pack a separate one.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush And Contour Palette In Golden Sugar

I like to use shade 1 as a highlight both on my cheeks and also as an inner corner highlight for my eyes, I thought it would have a more golden shimmer to it when I saw it in the pan but it is much lighter which I prefer. Shades 2 and 3 are lovely blush shades with shade 2 being more subtle than 3 but both lovely, I love shade 3 it is a beautiful blush shade and my personal favourite shade in this palette. Unfortunately I can't use any of the shades as a contour or bronzer as they are too orange toned for me and don't suit my complexion but may suit a deeper complexion than mine, however shades 4 to 8 I have found are lovely worn as eye shadows especially shades 4,5 and 6 they all make nice eyeshadow shades.

All the shades are pigmented without being overly powdery and creating little fallout, a light hand is needed with the deeper shades. The palette is a really lovely and versatile palette, it is great for blush and bronzer/contour depending on skin tone and the highlight shades are beautiful too, I also adore the large mirror in the palette. The palette is affordable and good value for money, I also think this would make an ideal Christmas gift idea for any makeup lover or perhaps for someone trying to build their makeup collection.

If you would like to try the Golden Sugar palette you can find it on the Makeup Revolution website  for £6.00.

Essence True Love Nail Polish - A NOTD And Review

NOTD And Review - Essence True Love

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have a NOTD and review of the Essence gel nail polish in the shade True Love (number 10), I recently bought a few items from Essence (see my Essence haul post here) and this polish was one of the items I bought.

True Love is a deep red shade which I thought would be perfect for this time of year and the coming months, I love reds in the autumn/winter time and I also love the gel effect polishes. I really like the brushes on the Essence gel polishes they have a nice wide brush making application effortless.

NOTD And Review - Essence True Love

I applied 2 coats of True Love allowing each coat to dry fully in between, it applied with ease and dried well too it isn't fast drying but didn't take ages either.

NOTD And Review - Essence True Love
Two coats without top coat

The photograph above was taken before I applied my top coat, as you can see the polish has a lovely shine to it, please excuse my cuticles they were snipped a little too much I think, ouch! The polish had a lovely opaque finish after 2 coats, I applied the Orly Glosser top coat as my top coat of choice.

NOTD And Review - Essence True Love
Two coats with top coat

In the above photograph I have applied my top coat, my nails were a beautiful deep red shade with a lovely glossy finish, I really love the colour.

Overall I loved the polish, it applied really well and was a breeze to apply with the nice wide brush and was opaque after 2 coats which is brilliant, the polish without top coat has a really nice glossy finish to it, I wouldn't say it looks like I've had a gel manicure but it is a nice glossy finish, I always use a top coat and used my Orly Glosser over the True Love, the polish wore well and lasted 4 days without chipping which for the price of the polish I think is brilliant, it's the same wear time as I would get using a Barry M polish with the Orly Glosser over the top.

I think True Love is a lovely polish in a beautiful shade and priced at just £1.60 it's an affordable shade for the coming months, it would also look stunning with a glitter top coat and provide a beautiful shade for over Christmas, I'm definitely going to check out some more shades from the Essence gel nail polish range, I hope they are all as good as this one.

If you would like to purchase the Essence gel polish in the shade True Love you can find it on the Wilko website for £1.60 and if you would like to purchase the Orly Glosser top coat you can find it on the Nail Polish direct website for £13.80.

Nails With Avon - A Review

Nails With Avon - A Review

Hello Lovelies,

I recently received some nail polishes from Avon and have been trying them out for the last few weeks and today I want to share my thoughts and findings with you. I love nail polish so when I received the 4 polishes I was so excited to try them all out, there are 3 different finishes of nail polish amongst the 4,  those finishes being the Avon Gel Finish, the Avon Magic Effects Matte and the Avon Nailwear Pro+.

Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel - £7.00 10ml

I love using gel effect nail polishes, I used to have regular gel manicures a couple of years ago and loved the finish and look so I am always on the hunt for polishes that can re create that salon gel manicure look. The Avon Gel Finish nail polishes are a base coat, protection, shine, colour and top coat all in one so there is no need to use any additional products and Avon claims the polish strengthens the nails by 42% and the polish is easily removed with normal nail polish remover. The shades I have are Barely There and Sheer Love.

Barely There

Nails With Avon - A Review

Two coats without topcoat

Barely There is a brown toned nude shade and very glossy considering I didn't use a top coat, in the photograph above I had used 2 coats allowing each coat to dry fully in between and didn't use a base or top coat as the polish already contains both.

Sheer Love

Nails With Avon - A Review

Nails With Avon - A Review
Three coats without topcoat

Sheer Love is a lovely pale pink shade, I used 3 coats in the photograph above and again didn't use a base or top coat.

I really like the Gel Finish Nail Enamel the polishes applied well and and my nails were left with a beautiful shine and looked lovely, out of the 2 the Sheer Love is my favourite but if neither of these shades are for you the Gel Finish nail enamel polishes come in 20 different shades and there really are some incredible shades to choose from. The Gel Finish polishes are lovely to apply, they look great and give a fantastic shine, I really liked them and was impressed by the finish they gave, they lasted well too even without a topcoat. If you would like to try the Avon Gel Finish nail enamel you can find them for £7.00 on the Avon website.

Avon Magic Effects Matte - £6.00 10ml

The Magic Effects Matte polish looks in the bottle like a sparkly vibrant purple shade but dries to a velvety matte finish, the polish comes in 5 different shades and is something really different as it looks so different in the bottle in contrast to the application.

Two Coats without topcoat
I have the shade Violetta in the Magic Effects Matte polish and I think the name suits the polish perfectly it is a beautiful vibrant purple shade, to be honest I am not usually a fan of both the colour purple and matte finish nail polishes but something about this polish I really liked, it does look exactly as described by Avon, they describe it as a "velvety smooth matte finish" and as you can see from the photograph above that is exactly what it is. The polish applied well and dried very quickly which I was pleased about, I didn't use a top coat with the polish because I don't own a matte top coat and I felt adding a glossy one was defeating the object but the polish wore well without however it did chip after a couple of days so I do think you would get a longer lasting application by adding a matte top coat. It really is a beautiful polish though and looks incredible, I got a lot of compliments on this polish, I think it would be lovely for an evening out over the festive period. If you would like to try the Avon Magic Matte finish polish you can find it for £6.00 on the Avon website.

Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel - £6.00 12ml

Nails With Avon - A Review

Nails With Avon - A Review

The shade I have in the Avon Nailwear Pro+ is Licorice, I really like Black nail polish especially during the winter months, Avon describe their Nailwear Pro+ plus range as "nail enamel fortified with acrylic gel for extra strength and Dura-Plus complex, 12 days of lasting colour, shine and nick resistant finish (based on 100 people)" I have to agree with Avon this is a fantastic polish and lasted really well on my nails even without a top coat, I can't say whether it lasts for 12 days as unfortunately I had to remove it after a week because of a medical appointment but a week in without a topcoat is remarkable for me so I can say it lasted really well. The shine is outstanding and the polish was a dream to apply, there are 22 beautiful shades to choose from so if you don't like Black don't be put off I'm sure there will be a shade for you. If you would like to try the Nailwear Pro+ polishes you can find them for £6.00 on the Avon website.

I was really pleased with and very impressed with all the Avon nail polishes, I had never tried an Avon polish before but will definitely try more in the future, they apply effortlessly and the finish of each polish was exactly as described by Avon, there is a great shade range available in all the finishes too and there are some beautiful shades, I already have my eye on quite a few of the gel finish polishes and the nail wear pro ones too, the packaging is sleek and the bottles are easy to hold and open and being square they store easily too, overall I am really impressed with Avon nail polishes and would highly recommend them all.

I also think that any of the polishes make a great Christmas gift idea either a stocking filler or for a Secret Santa gift they are lovely and I for one would be happy to receive any of them as a Christmas gift so if you're stuck for a gift for someone who loves to paint their nails I think any of these polishes would be an ideal Christmas gift or you could treat yourself after all we all deserve a little treat from time to time don't we?

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

Hello Lovelies,

A few weeks ago I received numerous tweets from a few of my blogging friends with a code to enable me to get a free sample of the Benefit Air Patrol so I decided to give it a whirl and get the sample, it arrived a few days later and after using it and seeing all the hype around it I thought I'd let you know what I thought.

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

You'll see from the image above the Air Patrol is a BB cream for the eyes, Benefit claims the Air Patrol helps protect against pollutants, sun and smoke and also helps to relieve dryness and is calming, plus it extends the wear time of the eyeshadow. The sample size I got was tiny but there was enough product (1.5ml) for me to be able to use it a few times to try it out and enable me to review it for you.

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

Appication & Thoughts

I applied the Air Patrol by popping some of the product onto the back of my hand and then using my ring finger applying it to my eye lids as I would my usual eye primer. The first thing I noticed was that the Air Patrol is very thin in consistency and also very yellow toned too.

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

Benefit Air Patrol - A Review

I didn't need to use much product but it is very thin also, I don't like the texture of the product at all or that it is very yellow toned as I have a pink undertone to my skin. I also found it creased badly on my lids, most concealers and eye primers do usually need an extra rub over with my ring finger as I am of an age where fine lines are my friend, I like to blame the dehydration of my skin but I don't think I can get away with that when talking about my eye lids! I usually use a MAC Paint Pot or the Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base and with both those products I apply them and then rub over again slightly with my ring finger but after using the Air Patrol it was something else, it creased really badly.

I applied my eyeshadow and it did stay in place all day without any creasing but I didn't notice anything groundbreaking at all, my shadows didn't appear more vibrant, the eye shadow didn't look any better or stay on any longer and I honestly couldn't see any more benefits from using the Air Patrol than from using my usual eye primer. Recently I purchased the Maybelline Colour Tattoo In Creme De Rose which is one of the new Colour Tattoos and works as an eye primer and I decided to compare the Colour Tattoo against the Air Patrol and I much preferred the Colour Tattoo, it feels nicer to apply and is a much better shade for my skin tone.

Overall Thoughts & Will I Purchase?

I honestly cannot see what all the fuss is about when it comes to the Benefit Air Patrol, it claims to be a BB cream for the eyes and helps fight against pollutants, smoke and sun etc and help with dryness and feel calming and soothing but I didn't notice any of those claims, to me it is a less than mediocre eye primer that is very thin in texture, very yellow in colour and creases really badly and I much prefer my other eye primers and the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Rose is much better in my opinion and is £16.51 cheaper than the Benefit Air Patrol.

In my opinion the Air Patrol is simply an eye primer and nothing else, why it needs to be called a BB cream for the eyes is beyond me and I certainly will not be purchasing it, it is £21.50 and I feel that there are much better eye primers on the market for a lot less money. I think if you love Benefit products or are a Benefit collector you might like it as an eye primer but I really didn't and therefore cannot unfortunately recommend it, the only redeeming feature I could find is that it will last you a long time because you only need a small amount. I suffer from extremely dry and dehydrated skin and didn't notice any difference at all after using the Air patrol, I didn't find it calming or soothing and I really didn't like the shade or texture, it is a complete no no for me I'm afraid and as I said I have much cheaper and better eye primers in my collection.

If you do like the Air Patrol and would like to re purchase or if you would like to try it , you can find it here on the Look Fantastic website for £21.50 including delivery or here on the Feel Unique website for £21.50 including delivery.

Have you tried the Air Patrol? Did it live up to the hype for you or did you find it to be just an eye primer?

A French Manicure With Essence

A French Manicure With Essence

Hello Lovelies,

You may have seen my recent post about my first Essence haul here where I bought a few products from the brand Essence after being gifted some makeup items in the summer and loving them, you can see that Essence product review post here. Since my haul post I have been trying out the products I bought and today I am going to share my thoughts with you on some of the nail products I purchased to create a french manicure. I purchased my Essence items from Wilko, Essence is sold in store and also on line on the Wilko website here.

The item I purchased to create a french manicure was the French Manicure White Tip Painter this is  basically a pen which paints on the white tips and was £1.50, I've used a pen like this for years but usually pay around £5.00 so I was pleased when I saw I could get the Essence one for £1.50.

A French Manicure With Essence

Next I purchased a nail polish to create the nude base colour of my french manicure, the French Manicure Beautifying Nail Polish in 02 a pale peach coloured nail polish which was £1.80 and the polish I usually use is £4.49 so I was hoping the Essence polish would be just as good so I could save some money and continue to purchase the Essence polish. Should you wish to try the French Manicure Beautifying Nail Polish in 02, you can find it on the Wilko website for £1.80.

A French Manicure With Essence

The polish I usually use to create the nude base of my french manicure is the Rimmel Brit Manicure in English Rose 445 and is £4.49 but does give me the perfect base colour, I was hoping the Essence polish would do the same.

I also purchased the Essence Nail Polish Corrector Pen which was £2.70. I have in the past used pens like this and paid a lot more for them so I was intrigued to see if this one performed well for the price,  I haven't bought a polish remover pen for a very long time and now if needed I'll clean up any mistakes using a cotton bud (que tip) dipped in some nail polish remover.

A French Manicure With Essence

Using The Products

The first product I used when creating my french manicure was the Essence White Tip Painter, I found the pen easy to use, to release the white polish from the pen you have to push down the nib of the pen the white fluid/polish is quite thin and runny but it isn't a problem and didn't make the pen difficult to use, I did find I had to keep pushing down the nib of the pen after each use to bring more fluid/polish into the nib which wasn't a problem but something I thought was worth mentioning.

A French Manicure With Essence
My nails after using the white tip pen
As you can see from the above photograph the White Tip Painter did a great job of creating the white tips for my french manicure.

Next I used the French Manicure Beautifying Nail Polish in 02 a peach coloured polish for my nude base, when creating a french manicure I always paint the tips first and then add the nude/pinky shade over the top. The polish has a nice easy to use brush with a fairly wide brush, it isn't as wide as the brush on the Essence Gel polishes but it was easy to work with.

A French Manicure With Essence
The brush on the polish
I used 2 coats of the polish as I normally would allowing each coat to dry fully in between and then added my top coat and my nails were finished, the top coat I used was the Essie Gel Setter top coat which gives a lovely glossy finish to my nails.

The Finished Look & My Overall Thoughts On The Products

A French Manicure With Essence

A French Manicure With Essence

I found the White Tip Painter easy to use and the only thing I didn't like was having to keep pushing the nib down to release the product but it wasn't a problem and for the price of £1.50 I thought it was a great product and would definitely recommend it. I couldn't find the exact same pen as mine on the website but I found the French Tip Painter on the Wilko website for £1.50 which looks as if it is an identical product and does the same thing as the pen, so if you would like to try a similar product I would recommend that one.

I really didn't like the Beautifying Nail Polish in 02, I found it very thin in consistency and it applied very streakily and when I'd finished my nails it looked streaky too as you will be able to see in the photographs above, I have since tried the polish again using more coats but it still didn't look right at all, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the polish and will be sticking to my HG polish for french manicures which as I said earlier is the Rimmel Brit Polish in 445 English Rose, it is a lot more expensive than the Essence but gives a much better result.  I have since found on the Wilko website there is an Essence polish which is more of a pink toned and looks similar to the Rimmel one, it is called the French Manicure Beautifying Polish in 01 however it wasn't available when I purchased my polishes and although the pink shade may be a better shade than the peach shade I picked up I fear it may still be thin and look streaky so I won't be purchasing it and will stick to the Rimmel one.

I found the Nail Polish Remover Pen easy to use, I had to wipe it on some kitchen roll after every use but that wasn't a problem, I would purchase it again but it isn't a product that would become a HG product as I can use a cotton bud and nail polish remover and get the same result but it is good if you want something quick and easy to use without messing about with cotton buds etc. If you would like to buy the Essence Nail Polish Remover Pen you can find it on the Wilko website for £2.70.

So those are my thoughts on the Essence products I purchased to create a french manicure, I liked the white tip pen and the polish remover pen but really didn't like the beautifying nail polish, I think the finished look looked streaky and I really wasn't happy with it, but I can still use the white tip pen with other products and I will continue to use the polish remover pen too so all is not lost.

Have you tried any of the products I have shown today?

Thank you for reading, much love as always

The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter

The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter

Hello Lovelies,

With having dehydrated skin my complexion can sometimes look a little dull and lacklustre meaning I like to use makeup products that help me to achieve a "dewy look" and recently I tried out a new product, the Body Shop Radiant Highlighter and I have been loving the results and wanted to share my thoughts with you.

The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter

The Radiant Highlighter comes in a tube containing 25ml of product and is £12.00, I feel the tube will last a long time since the amount of product needed is minimal. I've tried the Radiant Highlight in various different ways by using it mixed in with foundation, all over my face under my foundation, to highlight certain areas of my face either under or over foundation it's a really versatile product.

I like to use the Radiant Highlight to highlight certain areas of my face for example my cheekbones, down my nose and my cupids bow but it does also look lovely mixed with foundation. I like to wear matte blush and contour products and feel the Radiant Highlight gives me a beautiful highlight to my cheekbones and compliments the matte blush and contour really well.

The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter

Once blended out the Radiant Highlight provides a beautiful almost pearlescent shimmer to my skin without looking too glittery or shimmery it is stunning, I hadn't ever tried a highlight with the consistency of the Radiant Highlighter before but it is lovely, it feels like a light cream that is just the right consistency, not too thick or thin and I have been loving using it, it really does give a beautiful effect.

The Radiant Highlight applies effortlessly and can be applied either with fingers to dab it on in the areas desired or with a brush, I like to dab a little on to the areas of my face that I want it and then buff it out with a small duo fibre brush, it applies beautifully and wears well all day giving me a gorgeous glow to my otherwise quite dull skin.

I highly recommend the Radiant Highlighter it is a beautiful product that is easy to use and looks incredible on the skin in whichever way it's used, I had never tried a product like it but now I am obsessed with it, it is absolutely stunning.

If you would like to try the Body Shop Radiant Highlight, you can find it on the Body Shop website for £12.00 per 25ml tube here.

Have you ever tried this highlighter or a product like it? What are your go to highlight products? Let me know in the comments below.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Christmas Gift Ideas For Her 2015 - Avon Attraction Eau De Parfum

Christmas Gift Ideas For Her 2015 - Avon Attraction Eau De Parfum

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have another Christmas Gift Ideas For Her post for you and it's a fragrance from Avon, the Avon Attraction Eau De Parfum 50ml and it comes in a lovely gold box which I feel is ideal as a Christmas gift as something about the gold box just says "Christmas" to me.

Christmas Gift Ideas For Her 2015 - Avon Attraction Eau De Parfum

Inside the box the perfume is housed in a really lovely glass bottle the sides of the bottle are triangular in shape with one side being a slim triangle shape and the other an upside down slim triangle shape and gold in colour with Attraction written down the side, the top of the bottle has a gold spray and the lid is a lovely cut out square shape it really is a lovely bottle.

Christmas Gift Ideas For Her 2015 - Avon Attraction Eau De Parfum

Aside from the bottle being stunning the perfume smells incredible, I haven't ever owned an Avon fragrance before so didn't know what to expect from Attraction but it is absolutely beautiful.  The fragrance has notes of blackberry, vanilla amber and musk and reminds me very much of the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy fragrance which I also love, it is a sweet but not too sweet, fruity scent with a subtle musk scent and I think it smells incredible and because it is an eau de parfum it lasts really well on my skin too.

Attraction Eau De Parfum 50ml is an ideal Christmas gift for any fragrance lover, the bottle is lovely and will look beautiful on any dresser and the scent is stunning and it's a great price too at £15 for 50ml, usually you would pay triple the price for such a lovely fragrance, this really is a must for any ladies in your life whether it's a friend, partner or family member you really can't go wrong, it really is stunning and a beautiful gift.

If you would like to add Attraction to your wish list or if you'd like to treat someone else, you can find it here on the Avon website for £15 per 50ml bottle.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

My Personal Planner Plus A Fantastic Discount Code For You

My Personal Planner Plus A Fantastic Discount Code For You

Hello Lovelies,

I have a few health issues as you're probably aware of and because of them I experience some horrible symptoms and side effects one of them being that I have a very poor memory, I usually use my iPhone when it comes to marking down appointments and things I need to remember but recently I saw my friend Khila had bought a new Personal Planner and I thought it might be a good idea for me to get one to keep a track of things that I would otherwise forget.

When I went onto the Personal Planner website I was amazed at the choice of sizes, designs and features I had to choose from when designing my own Personal Planner there really are a lot of different things to choose from when it comes to designing your planner, I was blown away by the amount of choice, it's fantastic!

It was so easy to design my planner, to be honest I was pleasantly surprised at just how easy it was, when I first clicked onto the website I thought it might be a little confusing since I'm struggling a lot with things like that at the moment, but it wasn't at all confusing and I found it easy to design my planner, there are some fantastic features I'm going to share with you and I will be adding photographs to show you my planner and the things I chose to include in it, for reference I chose the A5 size for my planner.

The Front & Back Covers

Front Cover Of My Personal Planner

Back Cover Of My Personal Planner

I love Pink so it wasn't a hard decision for me when choosing the design for the front and back covers for my personal planner, I chose a pale Pink striped design with my name at the bottom of the front cover and 2015 - 2016 under my name, I also chose to have a pink elastic closure added to my planner as I thought it would be handy when I take the planner out in my bag with me.

Inside My Planner

The first thing you come to when opening the planner is the "owner info page" but this is one of the last things you choose when designing your planner, you can choose to have what ever you want written on the pages or leave it blank, you could have your name, address and telephone number or "if found please return to" or whatever you want and best of all you can add emojis too, I chose to have some of my favourite quotes and emojis and then under those I have "if found please call" and my mobile telephone number.

The quotes I chose are some of the quotes I like to use, I didn't include all my favourite quotes I selected 4 to remind me of certain things if I'm going through a difficult time, the emojis I chose represent myself, Simon and our 2 daughters then 4 sets of 2 little love hearts 1 for each of us, hearts and pink are 2 of my favourite things.

The first thing you choose when designing your planner is the writing space and how the inside pages of your planner will look, there are various different options to choose from when choosing writing spaces including vertical layout, ruled top, ruled bottom, striped, ruler and timetable, I chose to have the striped and chose green as I thought it went well with the pink. I chose the pink with white stars for the inlay at the top of my pages where the month is.

Writing Pages
After choosing the writing space and inlay design it's time to choose other features, there was a "weather and workout" feature but I chose not to have that, after that there are modules to choose from for the bottom of your planner, I chose to have 3 "to do" modules but there are lots to choose from including exams, dinners, pre school, to do, tv, work out, list, DIY and more there are 13 to choose from in total. I also chose to add the "personalised dates" feature in my planner I found this an excellent feature, you can choose from anything you want, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings any personal dates you might want to remember, I chose birthdays and anniversaries.

How A Birthday Looks

As you can see in the above photograph I chose to have the "personal dates" feature and my eldest daughters birthday is the 27th July so this is how it appears on that date in my planner, I really like the balloons I think it adds a nice touch.

Once you've chosen your main diary section of your planner there are 2 sections at the back of your planner the first section is 8 pages and the second 10 pages there are quite a few different sections to choose from and in section 1 there is a great choice including overview 2016 and 2017, overview 2017 and 2018, ruled overview of both 2016 and 2017, telephone and addresses, squared paper, ruled paper, blank pages and sheets of music amongst others. In section 2 you can choose from ruled and squared sheets, sheets of music, sudoku, colouring book, maps and blank pages amongst other things, I chose the telephone and addresses for my first section and ruled for my second and I also have a monthly overview section.

Another feature I added to my planner are some plastic wallets, I added 2 of the plastic wallets as I thought they would be handy should I be given an appointment card at any of my medical appointments then I could keep them safe until I was home and able to jot the appointments down or for any other things I might want or need to keep in them, as it happens I have gotten into using planner stickers and love to choose different stickers for my panner so I keep my stickers in the plastic wallets, they are ideal for keeping stickers in if you're like me and like to add stickers into your planner.

Another really great thing about the planner is that a month before it is due to finish there is a little note telling me my planner is coming to an end with 2 discount codes of 10% each, one for me and one for a friend which I thought was a really nice touch.

I do also have a small ruler at the front of my planner and I also purchased a pink pen to go with my planner, the pen arrived after a couple of days of ordering my planner and my planner took just over a week to come which I didn't think was bad at all, a great feature on the Personal Planner website is you can track your order from ordering to printing to packing and then despatched, I found it really helpful.

Personal Planner have very kindly given me a 15% discount code for my blog readers which can be added at the checkout and is available until December 13th, the code is D-XFEE-JUEI and will enable you to get 15% off your order which is an amazing discount, you can find the Personal Planner website here

I am really happy with my planner, it arrived well packaged and the plastic wallets and elastic closure were very easy to fit. I use my planner all the time it has become invaluable to me and I am so pleased I ordered it and will definitely be re purchasing next year when mine runs out. I do have a slight planner sticker obsession though so if you would like a post all about the stickers I use and have ordered and where I ordered them from, please let me know in the comments below.

Let me know if you order a planner and also let me know if you would like the blog post on the planner stickers, I think I have a bit of an addiction forming!

Thank you for reading, much love as always
