Orly Misconduct ~ A Review

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have a review of a nail polish I bought in the January sales, Orly's Miss Conduct. I love Orly nail polishes, they are by far my favourite brand of nail polish, and whilst browsing the January sales I saw Miss Conduct for sale on the Beauty Expert website and I knew I had to have it, have I mentioned I have a slight problem when it comes to buying nail polish?

Miss Conduct is a beautiful fuchsia pink based colour that has glittery particles running through it. It really is a lovely colour and I receive so many compliments when I wear this polish and even my mum who doesn't like glittery polishes but also loves Orly, loves this.

My Thoughts On Miss Conduct ~

As always I applied my beloved Orly Bonder base coat to my nails before applying the polish, I have spoken about this base coat numerous times on both my blog and my You Tube Channel and I love it and definitely recommend it. I then applied 2 coats of Miss Conduct allowing the first coat to dry fully before applying the second coat, I finished off with a coat of my favourite top coat Orly Glosser again an amazing product which I highly recommend and have spoken about a lot.

The polish, as with all Orly polishes, applies like a dream, out of all the nail polish brands I own, I find Orly the easiest to apply. The colour is beautiful and was already really glossy without any top coat but I did apply my Glosser top coat as always. The polish dries quite quickly, to give you an indication of drying time, once I'd painted my left hand and then my right hand my left hand was ready for it's second coat.

The finely milled glitter that runs through this polish applies evenly, I find that there is nothing worse than trying to make sure each nail has the same amount of glitter and looks the same etc when using a polish with glitter in it, but there is no need to worry with this polish it applies beautifully and evenly.

Orly polishes are 18ml in size which is great and bigger than the average nail polish, as with all Orly polishes they are free from formaldehyde, toluene and DBP which is great news and much kinder for your nails. The bottles have a rubberised lid which is easy to grip and hold, making it easy to open and close the polish but it also makes it easy to hold when painting your nails too. The new packaging has a black lid, as mine does. On the Beauty Expert website it shows the polish with the pale grey lid but mine came with the new black one, this didn't matter to me but something I thought I would mention should you want to order the polish and in case this is something that matters to you.

I usually get around 7 days wear time from my Orly polishes and this was no exception, on one occasion I caught my nail and ripped it off so that one did chip after 5 days but that was because I had broken my nail, some people would find 5 days wear amazing though I suppose.

Overall I love this polish, it is a beautiful colour, it applies like a dream, the glitter is even and it doesn't contain harmful products, the wear time is fabulous, it doesn't chip easily, what's not to love? I highly recommend Miss Conduct, it really is a beautiful polish and would look fabulous for an evening out or you could wear it any time at all, after all who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?

If you would like to try Miss Conduct, you can find it here for £9.69 including free delivery. I have ordered from the Beauty Expert website numerous times now and never had any problems with my orders, from ordering my products to delivery, everything has been smooth and I have no complaints at all and would recommend their site.

Have you tried Orly polishes? What's your favourite? I couldn't possibly choose a favourite as I am always discovering new colours, there's so many to choose from and Orly have some great nail care products too.

Thank you for reading, much love as always,

Zoe x
