Skinny Tan Tan And Tone Oil - Ideal For The Party Season

Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil

Hello Lovelies

Even though it's not exactly warm outside here in the UK, in fact it's quite the opposite, false tanning is still something a lot of people like to do, it definitely isn't something reserved for the summer months and especially at this time of year when there are lots of parties to consider, it's nice to have a glow and I always feel better with some colour too especially if I'm going to a party.

Today I have something to share with you that will appeal to any false tan user, it's the Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil. My youngest daughter Alicia is a real false tan addict, she wears false tan all year round, and by that I don't mean she is tanned 365 days a year, but she applies false tan for nights out with her friends or other occasions all year round and not just over the summer months.

When I received the Tan & Tone Oil I knew immediately who would be my guinea pig for trying it out and I was right, Alicia wanted to try out the tan as an avid tan applier, she is really good at applying tan and all her friends come to our house so Alicia can apply their tan too.

Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil

I also received the Tan Application Mitt with the tanning oil,  usually Alicia uses a different kind of mitt to apply her tan but she said she would use the mitt provided to try the tan so it was a fair test of both the mitt and the tan.

About Skinny Tan

Skinny Tan is made with the highest quality naturally derived tanning actives, coconut, guarana, almond oil, sunflower oil and grape seed oil and will not dry or irritate the skin. The tan is paraben free, cruelty free and suitable for vegans.

Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil

Alicia's Thoughts On Applying The Tan

The tan comes in a spray bottle and is the perfect size, it has enough product in the bottle for 4 - 6 full body applications but is small enough to pop into a handbag or luggage if you are travelling. The mitt is a luxurious feeling velvet double sided mitt, it is dark brown in colour so the tan won't stain the mitt and leave it looking unsightly. The mitt is machine or hand washable and the best thing of all is it comes with a "best tanning mitt you've tried" or your money back guarantee, which I think is brilliant.

The tan smells lovely and reminds me of holidays, it has a lovely coconut scent and doesn't have that false tan scent that most tans have, it does smell really nice, Alicia smells lovely when she uses the tan.  Alicia said the tan was nice and simple to apply, it is only slightly coloured so you can't really see where you're applying it, that doesn't bother Alicia because she tans regularly enough to know how best to apply it but she was a little concerned because she was using a different type of mitt than normal so she worried the tan may streak or look patchy.

The tan applied easily using the mitt, Alicia applied the tan on her face as well as her body and used the mitt to apply the tan to her face too. She said the tan was easy to apply, it rubbed into her skin well and left her skin feeling soft, she could feel the tan on her skin and she said it felt at first like it wasn't going to dry but it did, being an oil Alicia could feel it on her skin for a while until it dried.

Alicia said the mitt is the best mitt of it's kind she has ever used, she said it feels lovely on the skin and her hands were completely dry when applying the tan, non of the tan seeped through the mitt at all.

How The Tan Developed & Alicia's Overall Thoughts

The tan took around 2-3 hours to develop and developed into a lovely shade, not too light and not too dark, just a lovely tan and considering Alicia was worried because she was using a tanning mitt she wasn't used to she was really pleased with the results of her tan, it was streak free, even and not patchy at all, and she was left with a lovely even tan.

Alicia is really pleased with the Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil, she liked the way it applied and how the tan looked when it had developed, Alicia also topped up the tan and found it layered well without streaking or looking patchy and the tan also removed well using a body scrub.

Overall Alicia is really impressed with the Skinny Tan, she loves the double sided mitt and said it is by far the best mitt of it's kind she has ever used, it feels luxurious and not a drop of tan is on her hands after applying the tan, the mitt is also brilliant for applying the tan to the face, Alicia loves the mitt, and something which I found incredible is the mitt comes with the "best tanning mitt you've tried, or your money back" guarantee which I personally think is brilliant, saying that Alicia loves the mitt and said it really is good so I doubt there will be much need for a refund.

Alicia really likes the tan, she likes that it doesn't have that biscuit scent that most tans tend to have and that the scent, although nice and holiday like, doesn't linger. The tan develops well over 2-3 hours leaving a lovely even, non streaky and non patchy tan which is a lovely shade and not orange at all. Alicia said it will be perfect for any festive parties you may be going to, she said it is simple to use, and looks lovely once developed and she would definitely recommend it and she would also definitely recommend the double sided mitt too.

If you have some festive parties to go to or any parties at all and you want to give the Skinny Tan a try, you can find the Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil priced at £24.99 (100ml) and currently on a buy one get one free offer and the Tanning Application Mitt priced at £4.99 on the Skinny Tan website.

Have you tried the Skinny Tan Tan & Tone Oil? Or the Tanning Application Mitt? Or Both? Let me know in the comments what you think or let me know if you'd like to try them and are thinking of ordering.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

As you can see all the items included in the gift set are lovely, they are all excellent quality and also very useful, there isn't one single item I won't use, all the items are so nice, the packaging is lovely too, I adore the packaging.

The gift set is priced at £25.00 but the contents is worth £51.45, so £25.00 is an incredible price for such an amazing gift, there are also other incredible gift sets on the website which you can find HERE and start from £15.00 and go up to £100.00 and lots of the gift sets are worth much more than their price. A Christmas Gift Idea With Joan Collins Timeless Beauty

Hello Lovelies

Today I have another Christmas gift idea's post for you and the gift idea I have is from the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty range and is the Compact Duo Lipstick & Powder (£34.00) it is absolutely stunning and would make the perfect gift for Christmas.

A Christmas Gift Idea With Joan Collins Timeless Beauty

Joan Collins Paperazzi Compact Duo

The Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Compact Duo is absolutely stunning, the packaging is luxurious starting with the box,  it feels sturdy with lovely gold writing and looks very classy, then inside the box is a fabulous compact, it is a beautiful gold compact with embossed detailing and is stunning, it looks very classy and absolutely beautiful.

The compact has a face powder on one side (6g) and a full size Divine lipstick housed within the packaging (3.5g) on the other side, the compact comes with a small rectangle applicator sponge to apply the powder which is lovely and has the black and gold detailing also.

Joan Collins Paperazzi Compact Duo

The packaging is stunning but the products are brilliant too, the powder feels very silky, it applies beautifully, doesn't settle into any fine lines I have and doesn't look cakey on my dry skin. The lipstick I have is in the shade Crystal, a gorgeous red, I think red is perfect for Christmas but if red isn't your thing or the person you are buying for doesn't like red, there are 16 lipstick shades to choose from all named after characters Joan Collins has played during her career.

The packaging of the lipstick is also stunning, it reminds me of the Estee Lauder Signature lipsticks or the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, it is beautiful.

Joan Collins Paperazzi Compact Duo

Joan Collins Paperazzi Compact Duo

The lipstick feels extremely moisturising and applies like a dream, it is opaque in one swipe and doesn't bleed or feather. I get around 3-4 hours wear time from the lipstick without wearing a liner underneath but longer with a liner. I haven't felt a lipstick so moisturising in a long time, it feels lovely on the lips and has a balm like texture, it is a really nice lipstick and is very hydrating.

The Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Compact Duo is an absolutely stunning product, not only is the packaging amazing the products inside the compact are too. The powder is lovely and feels very silky on my skin, it lasts all day, doesn't settle into my fine lines and is perfect for setting my under eye concealer or touching up throughout the day as it is perfect to keep in my handbag. The lipstick is the most moisturising lipstick I have used and feels amazing on my lips, it has great wear time and fades away nicely without leaving a ring of colour around my lips or going patchy. It really is a lovely compact with fabulous products.

The Joan Collins Compact Duo would make a perfect Christmas gift for someone or a "to me from me" gift too if you want to treat yourself, it is a stunning compact and I'm sure something any makeup lover would like to find in their stocking on Christmas morning.

If you would like to treat yourself or anyone else to the Joan Collins Compact Duo, you can find it on the Joan Collins website HERE priced at £34.00.

What are your thoughts on the compact duo? Would you like to receive one for Christmas? Is it on your wish list already? Let me know in the comments below.

Too Faced Hangover Primer

Too Faced Hangover Primer

Hello Lovelies

I think you all know by now that I suffer from extremely dry and dehydrated skin, I also have sensitive and eczema prone skin, because of this I have to use a primer under my makeup, not to help my makeup last but because if I don't, my foundation clings to my desert like dry skin and starts to go patchy throughout the day because of my dehydrated skin, such a lovely combination!

I have tried so many primers over the years and finally found one that worked for me and have my "makeup skin prepping" routine down to a tee, I've used the same primer, the Smashbox Photofinish Hydrating Primer for years and for the last few months have been spritzing my skin with the Pixi Glow Mist hydrating face mist before applying my base too and both work perfectly.

Being both a beauty addict and blogger and a reader of blogs I am always adding products to my wishlist and one product I had had on there for ages was the Too Faced Hangover Primer and since I had a Debenhams gift card that I hadn't used from my birthday in February and there was a 10% off plus 500 points if you bought a base product so it seemed the perfect time to buy it, so I did. I have been using the primer for around 6 weeks now and thought it was time I shared my thoughts on it with you.

Too Faced Hangover Primer

What Too Faced Say About The Hangover Primer

When long days of work and late nights of play give you a beauty hangover, this is your instant cure. Hangover is a revolutionary makeup primer infused with coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers that work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer and more flawless wear.
We harnessed the science of hydration to create a creamy, penetrating primer that acts like an energy drink for the skin by replenishing moisture levels. It can be worn alone for a dewy, healthy looking finish or under bronzers, foundations and powders to create the perfect canvas.
  • The unique combination of coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers work together to:
  • Hydrate and brighten skin
  • Promote skin’s elasticity and tone
  • Soothe and smooth the skin
  • Get all the priming benefits you love while looking like you received eight hours of sleep and drank your daily dose of H2O

My Thoughts

Firstly, I like the packaging, the box is nice and comes with lots of information on the primer and I was pleasantly surprised to take the lid off the tube and find a pump applicator, I thought it would be a standard squeeze it out application, so the pump pleased me.

Too Faced Hangover Primer

Too Faced Hangover Primer

Too Faced Hangover Primer

The scent of the primer isn't horrible but it isn't nice either, it smells of coconut but to me it smells very artificial and considering the primer contains coconut water, I felt it could have smelled nicer but  I find it does smell a little artificial, so I was a little disappointed considering their eyeshadow palettes always smell so nice, I suppose I expected the same with the primer, don't get me wrong, you might love it, but it just smells a little plastic and false to me.

The primer is a white lotion and a little goes a long way, the consistency I would say is similar to that of a light day moisturiser. The primer rubs in and sinks into my skin nicely and the scent doesn't linger.

It pains me to say that I don't love the primer, I didn't experience any of the claims made by Too Faced about the primer and unfortunately I won't be re purchasing, I can hear gasps from all those who love it as they are reading this but there is a good reason for me not loving the primer, and that is that it just isn't enough for my skin, so the problem really isn't the fault of the primer but of my stupidly dry skin, when I say I have dry skin, it is really really dry, so much so it feels like sandpaper right now, at the time of writing this post it is 1pm and I applied my skin care at 7am and if I run my hand over my forehead it feels rough.

I think if your skin is dry but on a normal level, if that makes sense, this would be a great primer, it does feel lovely on the skin but my skin is so dry it is ridiculous so it isn't hydrating enough for me, I'm hoping it will be ok for me in summer when my skin isn't quite as dry but at the moment it doesn't work for me I'm afraid.

I will keep the Too Faced primer to one side and try it again in the summer months and stick with my Smashbox primer over the winter. I read so many blog posts and reviews online on the Hangover primer before purchasing it and so many people love it and I wanted to too. It isn't a bad product, it just isn't hydrating enough for my skin, it's hard to get across just how dry my skin is in a blog post but it really is bad, it is so dry it's ridiculous and unfortunately the Hangover Primer just isn't enough for my skin and I am so upset because I love the brand and haven't ever not liked a product from Too Faced but my skin is just ridiculous.

If you have dry or dehydrated skin or both and your skin isn't extremely dry, I would definitely suggest you give the Hangover primer a try because it is a nice product, it applies well and feels lovely on my skin, and so many people love it but if your skin is extremely dry and you need to use a lot of hydrating products and thick moisturisers etc I would maybe give the Smashbox primer a try instead, you should be able to pick up a sample of both primers from counters.

If you would like to try the Too Faced Hangover Primer, you can find it on the Debenhams website here priced at £27.00.

Have you tried this primer and do you love it or are you like me and just have such dry skin it didn't work for you? Let me know in the comments section below.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

The So Eco Blush Brush - A Review

The So Eco Blush Brush - A Review

Hello Lovelies

I love getting new makeup brushes, there is nothing like opening the packaging of a new makeup brush and using it for the first time, so when I received some new brushes recently, I couldn't wait to use them.

One of the brushes I received and the first new brush I used is the So Eco Blush Brush, I hadn't heard of the brand So Eco before receiving the brush but I loved the look of the brush straight away even before taking it out of it's box.

The So Eco Blush Brush

The So Eco Blush Brush

I really like the brush packaging, I like the way you can see enough of the brush to know what it's like and there is also lot of information on the brand and the brush also.

So Eco are cruelty free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, made from recycled and sustainable materials that are compostable, recyclable and bio-degradable. The brush bristles are all very soft and the handles are made from bamboo which is an ecologically sustainable material, the brushes are held together using water based adhesives and printed using vegetable inks. The packaging of the brushes is FSC approved board from managed forests and the window is made from corn starch.

The blush brush I have is hand cut to deliver the right amount of product, creating a touch of colour and definition and can be used with liquid or powder products.

The So Eco Blush Brush

The So Eco Blush Brush is a lovely brush, the bristles feel so soft and I knew before using the brush that it would feel amazing on my face and it does. The brush has a rose gold coloured ferrule which I love, it is perfect for applying blush but I also use it to apply my setting powder and it works equally as well.

The So Eco Blush Brush

The So Eco Blush Brush

The brush cleans really well, I have spot cleaned it using IPA and washed it using my solid brush cleanser and it cleans well both ways and hasn't shed. I like the soft grip design of the brush, it is so handy and holding the brush is super easy, the brush feels lovely on the skin and picks up and applies just the right amount of product.

I hadn't heard of So Eco makeup brushes before receiving the blush brush but I would definitely like to try more from their range, the blush brush is a really nice brush and gives the high end blush brushes in my collection a run for their money and since owning the So Eco blush brush, I haven't used any of my high end blush brushes because the So Eco brush is so nice.

The blush brush is animal and environmentally friendly, it feels amazing on the skin, doesn't shed, washes well, applies product beautifully and is affordable, there really isn't anything negative I can say about the So eco blush brush, it is fabulous and if you haven't heard of the brand or tried their brushes before, I highly recommend you do.

You can find out more about So Eco and their range of brushes here and you can buy the So Eco blush brush and other brushes here, the blush brush is priced at £7.50 and other single brushes range in price from £5.00 and brush kits start at £12.50.

Have you tried the So Eco Blush Brush or any other So Eco brush? Let me know your recommendations in the comments as I'd love to try more.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

A Great Big Thank You

A Great Big Thank You

Hello Lovelies

I have a bit of a different post today, but I wanted to say thank you so much to so many of you and this seemed the best way to do it.

On Monday of this week, the 21st November 2016, I had to go into hospital, it was a planned procedure/surgery and I have known for just over a month that I had to go in. The actual surgery was incredibly painful and I am now recovering slowly at home, I was allowed to come home under the care of district nurses and on strict instructions of 24/7 bed rest, well sofa rest since I put my back out the Thursday before I went into hospital and am struggling to lie down (typical).

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who wished me well on Monday before and during my time in hospital and for the messages, emails, tweets, DM's, Instagram DM's and comments and emails I have received since I got home, it is overwhelming how many people care about me and really has helped me to feel so much better, thank you so much!

Also, last Friday I did something I haven't done in just over 12 months and that was upload a YouTube video, if you are new to my blog you may not be aware but I used to upload to YouTube 3 times a week and filmed a variety of video's, due to health problems I took a break in September of last year but always hoped to return. Unfortunately my health has deteriorated since then but I do miss YouTube, my subscribers and the community, and after lots of deliberating I decided I would give it a go again, things will be a little different but I'm going to see how it goes.

Another thank you is to everyone who has watched the video I uploaded and for all the amazing comments I have received on the video, it is incredible the amount of support and kindness I received and so lovely to see that so many people were pleased to see little old me.

If you haven't seen the video but would like to watch, you can check it out below, and if you would like to see more of me, please subscribe to my channel HERE

Last but by no means least I currently have a HUGE blog birthday giveaway, there is just 1 week left to enter and there are 8 amazing prizes to choose from. If you haven't entered but would like to, you can enter HERE

Thank you ever so much for all your kindness regarding my YouTube video and for all the love and kindness shown to me since my op on Monday, unfortunately I am still not well at all and the op was a complete waste of time but I will explain more about that in a health update soon.

Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart, you are all amazing and it means the world to me, thank you! 💖

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment

Hello Lovelies

A few months ago I had a gel manicure at a local salon, I had two lots of gel nails, one after the other and my nails were left in very bad condition, they kept breaking and peeling and were so weak. I took to Twitter to ask for advice and the lovely Allie (@Allegra_Sarah) recommended the Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure 10 in 1 treatment, so next time I placed a Boots order, I picked some up.

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment

What Nails Inc Says About After Gel Hangover Cure

This miracle treatment uses a blend of natural ingredients coupled with scientific know how to deliver a proven intense repair treatment for nails damaged by gel manicures or nails in poor condition. The powerful treatment works in 10 ways to repair and rebuild the nails.

Strength: a keratin like peptide & spinach help actively strengthen & reinforce the nail.

Regenerate: powered by vitamin & mineral rich seaweed extract, known to help hydrate & regenerate the nail.

Harden: hexanal & kale work together to harden the nail bed.

Protect: a blend of peptides help reinforce the nail & prevent breakage. Smooth: ridge fillers conceal ridges and imperfections.

Hydrate: argan oil helps provide nourishment.

Gloss: nitrocellulose provides brilliant shine.

Perfect: optical brighteners brighten the nail. Base: one coat works as an adhesive base coat. Treat: two coats provide an intensive treatment."

My Thoughts

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment

The Nails Inc After Gel can be used in 2 ways, either as a base coat by applying 1 coat underneath your nail polish or you can apply 2 coats to the nails twice a week and then after a week remove the After Gel and repeat the process.

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment Brush

The brush on the treatment is a wide brush which I like as I find it is easier to apply, the After Gel  dries quite quickly meaning if I am applying 2 coats it dries quickly in between.

I have used the After Gel as a base coat under my nail polishes and as a treatment using 2 coats twice weekly and then removing the treatment and starting again. If using as a treatment I usually apply my first 2 coats on a Sunday and then apply a further 2 coats over the top on Wednesday or Thursday and then remove on Sunday and start again. The After Gel has a white colour to it and isn't completely clear so if using it as a treatment it can be seen on the nails, I thought it would be clear but it isn't, it doesn't bother me at all but if you're after something clear, this isn't.

Nails Inc After Gel Hangover Cure Ten In One Treatment swatch

I have used the After Gel as a my base coat every time I have painted my nails and as a weekly treatment around 5/6 times since I purchased it and my nails are a lot stronger than they were after having 2 gel manicures, one after the other. I wouldn't say my nails are talons and the odd nail does still break from time to time, but my nails aren't weak or peeling anymore, when I'd first had my second lot of gel removed my nails were very weak and so soft, they would bend easily but they feel so much stronger now.

Since first purchasing the After Gel I was sent a Sensationail Gel Nail Kit to review on my blog and since then I have bought quite a few gel polishes and have been using the gel polishes applying them to my own nails, I have used 3 of the shades I picked up and have used the After Gel in-between using different gel shades and it definitely makes a difference.

I did think that using gel polish on my nails would make my nails weak and brittle again but my nails are still as strong as they were and they don't split or break and aren't weak at all, I do have the odd broken nail but it was always rare for me to have all 10 nails a nice length anyway, I always seem to have a short one where I have broken one. The After Gel has definitely helped to restore my nails back to a healthy state and keeps them strong in between gel polishes I do at home and I always use it as my base coat when painting my nails with regular nail polish.

Overall I am really happy I picked the Nails Inc After Gel treatment up, and can't thank Allie enough for recommending it to me. It is expensive but it does exactly what it says on the tin and my nails look and feel so much better, I would definitely recommend it and will re purchase when mine runs out.

If you would like to try the Nails Inc After Gel, you can find it on the Boots website priced at £9.50 for 8ml and Boots currently have a 3 for 2 offer across beauty products, so it's a great time to pick it up.

Have you tried the After Gel? Or do you have a favourite nail treatment? Chat with me in the comments and let me know.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul

Hello Lovelies

Today I have a fashion haul for you and I have quite a lot to show you so you might want to grab a drink and get comfortable before reading. I have been picking things up over the last couple of months now and today I thought I would show you what I bought.

It's really hard to show clothing photographs on a blog I think so if you would like to see any of the items I show today in an outfit post, please let me know in the comments. Anyway without further ado, I shall crack on with my haul.

Accessorize

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - Accessorize

Simon treated me to these Bertie Bear socks from Accessorize, bears are a sentimental thing in our house so I love to get things with bears on and I really like these socks. All the £3.50 socks are on a 3 for 2 offer at the moment which is perfect if you're looking for a stocking filler, pardon the pun.

Primark

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - Primark

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - Primark

Left to right I picked up a burgundy striped long sleeve t shirt with a scoop neck, they have these in so many different patterns and colours, they are quite fitted so you may want to size up but they are great value at just £4.00 each. Next I picked up a grey/black leopard print cardigan, leopard print is everywhere this season and I really like it, it was hugely on trend a few years ago and I stupidly got rid of all my pieces and now wish I'd kept them, this cardigan was £8.00 and looks nice over a black vest top and worn with jeans or over a plain black dress and boots. Lastly I picked up a striped shirt in a dusky pink shade, this is also available in a blue/grey shade which is lovely but I have a blue striped shirt so I chose the pink, it was only £7.00 which I thought was a bargain and looks lovely worn open with a vest top underneath or closed, I wear it with leggings and skinny jeans as it is long enough to cover my bottom, I like that the sleeves can be rolled up and buttoned in place or worn down.

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - Primark

I also picked up some Christmas earrings, these Rudolph earrings were only £1.00 and are super cute, they have a red sparkly gem for the nose and gold sparkly antlers, I also picked these up for both my daughters and they loved them. I did also pick up some black gloves in a lovely fluffy fleece type fabric, they are 2 pairs for £1.00 and they also do them in cream or baby pink and I picked the girls some of those up too. I picked my youngest daughter Alicia some tights up, they are the body sensor tights so they keep you warm when it's cold and cool when it's warm so she should be warm when travelling to university but not over heating in lectures, we had looked at the exact same tights in M&S about 20 minutes before going into Primark and they were £9.50 for 2 pairs of 100 denier body sensor tights, in Primark they are £5.00 for 3 pairs and we picked up 2 packs so paid £10.00 for 6 pairs and it would have cost us £28.50 in M&S for 6 pairs!! The lower denier body sensor tights are slightly cheaper at £3.50 for 3 pairs in 40, 60 and 80 denier. I can't link the Primark items unfortunately but they do have a website if you would like to check these things and other things out HERE.

Oasis have some stunning pieces at the moment, I used to shop there a lot around 10 years ago but the sizing suddenly went really small and the prices went up a lot but I have been looking at their site a lot recently, they have some really lovely pieces and they also offer student discount all year round which is worth mentioning in case you or someone you know has a student discount card or uni days account. The first thing I picked up from Oasis is this Leopard print crew neck top, it has black edging around the neckline and has a keyhole fastening at the back with the same black edging and a small gold button. This top feels lovely and soft and looks great with black jeans or a black leather skirt, tights and boots, my lovely daughter Lissy picked this up for me as she knew I'd love it.

Next from Oasis is this lovely fitted striped t shirt with a round neck, it has a sparkly stripe which unfortunately didn't pick up very well on camera but looks stunning in reality, this top looks lovely with jeans or a skirt and is a nice smart top to wear for shopping trips or visiting friends without being uncomfortable.

This photograph doesn't really do these jeans justice, but these are a mid wash skinny jean and are the most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever worn, they are sold as denim leggings but look and feel like skinny jeans just a lot more comfortable. They are available in lots of different colours and are available in sizes 6 - 22 in petite, regular, long and extra long leg length. They have pockets on the back and a zip and button fastening on the front, they look like they have pockets on the front but they are false pockets but the ones on the back are real. I highly recommend these jeans especially if you're like me and can find jeans uncomfortable.

One thing I did find that disappointed me was I loved the blue jeans so much so I ordered a black pair in the same size which is an 18R and I also ordered a 20R, the 18R was tight on the waist and I couldn't fasten them and baggy on the legs and the 20R fastened but still felt tight but the legs were really baggy and I mean baggy, they also didn't feel as comfortable, the material wasn't the same at all, they were the exact same jeans in the same size from the same store yet they fitted completely differently and felt totally different too, so make sure you try these on and try a couple of different sizes, but the mid wash blue I can highly recommend, they are so so comfortable and they are skinny on the leg too.
H&M

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - H&M
I picked up a few things from H&M, I don't usually order from H&M online because in the past their shipping has been atrocious and taken weeks and then things don't arrive that I have ordered, but they have changed their shipping service and it is so much better, you can even select next day delivery now, plus they had 20% student discount at the time so I bit the bullet and ordered a few basic bits. I ordered a black ribbed long line cardigan, it doesn't have buttons and is only quite thin but I don't like chunky knitwear as I am always quite warm because of the medication I take.

I also picked up 3 tops from H&M, L-R the first one I picked up is a black bardot top with 3/4 length sleeves, it looks lovely on and can be dressed up or down and I think it will be a really versatile piece to have in my wardrobe. The bardot tops are available in 7 different colours including a lovely striped one, they are available in sizes XS - XL and you can find them on the H&M website for £7.99.

I also picked up 2 v neck t shirts, a black one and a dark grey one, they are just plain v neck t shirts but I have been on the lookout for some nice plain v neck t shirts for years now and my lovely friend Khila recommended these to me, she used to buy them years ago and then they stopped selling them and recently re stocked them so she recommended I try them, I did also order a white but it was only available in a larger size and was too big unfortunately so I will order that again sometime. Excuse the photograph of the creased grey t shirt, it had been in the bag and I didn't realise how creased it was, a good thing is that the creases dropped out whilst the t shirt was hung in my wardrobe. The t shirts fit well and are quite a loose fit, they cover my bottom so can be worn with skinny jeans or leggings and are a lovely soft material, they come in 7 different colours and are available in sizes XS - XL and you can find them on the H&M website for £7.99.

Dune

A HUGE Autumn/Winter Fashion Haul - Dune

Last but by no means least I picked up these shoes from Dune, they are black patent flatform loafer style shoes and I really like them, they are different for me and I was unsure at first but after asking what people thought on Instagram I was sold, they are also available in burgundy patent which is stunning but I felt black would go with more for me.

They look great with jeans or leggings but look equally as nice with tights and a dress or skirt too, and best of all they currently have £10.00 off them making them £28.00 instead of £38.00, plus Dune also take student discount so even better if you or someone you know has a student discount card or a uni days account! If you would like to pick up the shoes, you can find them on the Dune website  priced at £28.00 (were £38.00).

So those are all the things I have picked up over the last couple of months online and in store, I am sorry there was so much and the photographs aren't brilliant, but it is so hard to photograph pieces of clothing. If you would like any fashion posts with me wearing any of the items in this haul, please leave me a comment below, tweet or email me.
