Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas From Lee Stafford

Christmas Gift Ideas From Lee Stafford

PR Gifted Products

I like me, you have been a little (a lot) unorganised for Christmas this year and still have some last minute shopping to do, I may have the answer for you with some brilliant gift sets from Lee Stafford.

If you are a regular or long time reader of my blog, you will have seen me talk about Lee Stafford products and tools many times.  I love his hair products and hair tools and it wouldn't be Christmas if I didn't feature a gift or gifts as part of my Christmas gift ideas, from Lee Stafford on my blog.

I have two gift ideas for you today, both perfect for any hair care or beauty lover, or just as a treat for yourself, it's ok to treat ourselves once in a while isn't it? Especially after the busy few weeks that is Christmas.

Lee Stafford 5 Piece Ultimate Hair Mask Collection - £10.00

Christmas Gift Ideas From Lee Stafford

There are 5 hair masks in the gift set, each mask is slightly different and they all smell different. They contain a selection of carefully selected ingredients that target specific hair needs. These masks are ideal as a gift for someone, but they are also nice to treat yourself too. The masks included in the gift set are:

  • Argan Oil Deep Nourishing Treatment Mask
  • Choco Locks Butter Cream Treatment Mask
  • Coco Loco Coconut Treatment Mask
  • Hair Growth Treatment Mask
  • Thirsty Hair Mucho Moisture Treatment Mask

The mask set is a great gift idea, it's always nice to treat ourselves to a pamper once in a while
and a hair mask is ideal for that, and who doesn't want great looking and feeling hair for Christmas.

Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde, Lifes Better Blonde Washbag Gift -£14.00
Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas From Lee Stafford

Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas From Lee Stafford

The lifes better blonde gift set is a great set, it contains 2 full sized products and I love how it comes with a wash bag, you can never have too many washbags right? I am already a lover of the Lee Stafford Ice White shampoo and Bleach Blondes conditioner so I knew I'd love this gift set.

If you are blonde but don't have bleached hair, don't be put off by the name of the products, I don't have bleached hair, I do have it tinted but I don't have it bleached so if you are blonde but not bleached blonde, this set is still for you, the products tone and refresh blonde hair and leave it looking lovely, my hair, being blonde, isn't really shiny, but it is if I use these products.

They are really great products and I have spoken about them on my blog previously and have many posts featuring Lee Stafford products also. This set is really good and if you bought the shampoo and conditioner without the bag, it would cost £13.98, so for just 2 pence, you're getting a wash bag, it's a win win and a great gift idea for the blondes in your life, or for yourself.

I really like both gift ideas and whether you want to buy them as a last minute gift for someone or you buy them for yourself, you won't regret it.

If you are last minute shopping on the high street, you can find both gift sets in Boots and if you want to treat yourself but can wait, you can grab them on the Lee Stafford website

Have you tried any Lee Stafford products or tools? And if so, which is your favourite?

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From Men-ü

PR Gifted Products

I don't know about you, but I always struggle when it comes to buying Christmas gifts for the men in our family, or any gifts for the men in our family for that matter.

That was until I received some male grooming products from men-ü, and as soon as I opened the parcel I thought all the products looked brilliant and couldn't wait to show them to my partner to see what he thought too. My partner has been trying the products out for me and today I'm going to tell you a bit about the products and share my partner's thoughts too.

About men-ü

The company founder of Men-ü, Graham Fish has had 40 successful years in the beauty industry and his background includes building businesses and selling them in Europe and several countries all over the world. He also worked with venture capitalists, including 3i. Brands include Tresemme, VO5, Indola and more recently Philip Kingsley.

Graham strongly believed men’s grooming products and services could be much improved and that men were prepared to pay for quality, as they do with cars, fashion, entertainment etc. In 2001 men-ü was founded and is today one of the top professional, men’s grooming brands. It is a revolutionary line of high performance, ultra concentrate products – a little goes a long way. Concentrated formulae facilitate the use of a high percentage of the finest ingredients and the secret is to get them to where they are needed, without waste. The products fit neatly in the hand and into a man’s lifestyle, bathroom, sports or travel bag.

In 2019, men-ü launched 3R Grooming – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Cost efficient refills are available for the full range of ultra concentrate 100ml and 500ml products with pumps.

men-ü Selection Box Grooming Essentials Gift Set - £24.95 (worth £38.40)

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

The men-ü grooming essentials gift set has a great range of products, everything from shower gel to moisturiser. My partner has been my guinea pig when it came to trying the men-ü products for this post, and one of the first things he said was that he really liked the way the products tell you how many applications you will get from each product. Another thing he liked about the gift set is the range of products it includes.

The products included are:

Black Pepper & Bergamot Shower Gel - 100ml
Shave Crème buddy tube - 15ml
Healthy Facial Wash buddy tube - 15ml
Matt ‘Skin Refresh’ Gel buddy tube - 15ml
Facial Moisturiser Lift buddy tube - 15ml
Matt Moisturiser buddy tube - 15ml
3 Minute D-TOX buddy tube - 15ml
Liquifflex buddy tube - 15ml

On the back of the box, there are photographs of each product included and a little bit of info about each product too, another very helpful bit of information is that every product shown on the back of the box has the number of applications in the bottle/tube.

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

The gift set would be ideal for anyone wanting to try men-ü products for the first time or for someone who goes to the gym, and it would be perfect for travelling and with all the products being 100ml or under, they can be taken on to an aeroplane in your hand luggage if you are only carrying hand luggage with you. And if you have suitcases to check in, the products don't take up much room in a toiletry bag and for us would take up much less room as we would normally take full size toiletry products including shower gel, shaving cream, hair products and face wash amongst other things, so we would be saving so much space, win win.

men-ü Shave Facial Trio - £29.95 (worth £38.85)

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

The men-ü Shave Facial Trio is a set that contains everything needed for a wet shave.

The products included are:

Facial Moisturiser 100ml
Shave Crème 100ml
Healthy Facial Wash 100ml
Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü
As with the selection box gift set, on the back of the shave trio box are images of all 3 products, a bit of info on each product and how many applications are in each product too. My partner has been using the Shave Facial Trio for quite a while now and he loves it, when I asked why he loves it, he said he uses much less product than the shaving foam he usually uses, and his skin feels soft and not sore at all after using all 3 products. Usually, when he has a wet shave he ends up with sore spots on his neck and his jawline, but he hasn't had anything like that at all since using the men-ü products.
men-ü Refill Kit | Year Of Shaving | Shave Creme - £19.95

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

Mens Christmas Gift Ideas From men-ü

Another great gift idea is the Year Of Shaving set,  in this set two shaving cremes, each 100ml bottle has 165 applications in it giving you a whole year of shaving cream, for less than £20.00, I know my partner definitely spends more than £20.00 per year on his usual shave foam/creme. The set comes with one bottle with a pump dispenser and a refill that you can put your pump dispenser into once you have run out.

Both products are 100ml meaning that you can take them onto an aeroplane in a carry on or put in your case in the hold, the size of the shaving creme is much better than a can of shaving creme and takes up much less space when travelling.

My partner has been so impressed with all the products from men-ü and we will 100% be repurchasing all the items shown today, and when I asked if he would recommend the products and which were his favourite, he said he would highly recommend all the products because he really likes them all and his favourite product is the men-ü shave set because his face isn't sore at all after shaving and it usually would be.

Overall the products are all really good products and a reasonable price for the ingredients used and the packaging is nice too which may not be important for some but I personally do look at the packaging of products, and the fact the packaging is recyclable too which is brilliant and something we are much more conscious about lately.

If you would like to find out more information about men-ü or their products or if you want to purchase anything, check out their website

Do you struggle to buy the males in your family gifts? And have you or your male friends and relations tried anything from men-ü?

Fashion Post - A Casual OOTD

www.mammafulzo.com

All the items featured in this post were bought by myself.

When I asked on Instagram recently what kind of blog posts people wanted to see more of, fashion posts was high up on the list, so today I have an OOTD or outfit of the day post for you, it's a casual outfit and one I always get compliments on when I wear it so I thought I would share it with you.

I will show you the outfit and then give details of where everything is from, and I will include links where you can buy the items should you wish and if the items are no longer available, I will find similar items for you, these will all be in both plus size and non plus size sizes.

The Outfit

plus size outfit of the day

The outfit is simple and comfortable and can be worn for any occasion, it's casual but not so dressed down it's too casual,  I have worn it for many different occasions, such as lunch or dinner out, shopping or visiting friends and family.

If I am carrying a bag I usually wear a nude/pink and grey toned handbag or sometimes a fuchsia pink one to add a bit of colour and it looks great, but you could wear any bag to compliment the outfit. I have seen a few bright yellow/lime yellow bags floating around online that I love and I would definitely wear a bag that colour with this outfit too.

My jacket is unfortunately unavailable but I found similar ones in New Look - via ASOS (£29.99) available from the regular range in sizes 4 to 18.

I also found these Converse dupes in New Look (£9.99) and they are available in 13 different colours too, bargain!

And Thats A Wrap!

I hope you have enjoyed this fashion post, I am going to post more fashion content on my blog, some posts will include a mirror photograph like this one and some will have a more posed photograph, unfortunately I am not in a position to go out and shoot several outfit changes in one day with a professional photographer, that is the main reason I haven't posted many fashion posts on my blog but I had such a kind reception on Instagram to my outfit photographs and so many asked for more fashion posts on here, so hopefully you'll be happy with them.

Thank you for reading and please let me know if there are any specific fashion related posts you'd like to see on here.

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

This post is labelled AD - Gifted PR because I was kindly sent the products to review from the pr company.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my stories where I received a huge bag of products from Palmers. I was very excited when I opened the bag and found so many great products,  which included hair care products, body care products, hand cream and a multi purpose swivel stick, as shown in the photograph above, and I couldn't wait to try them all.

I knew it would take me a while to try everything out, and I like to try things quite a few times before I share my thoughts with you, unless of course it's a first impressions type post. I have been using all the products since receiving them and today I am going to share my thoughts on the hair care products with you, I did think about writing a post on all the products but decided it would be far too long as I like to give an in depth review,  so I decided to split the products up.

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

The haircare products I received are the Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo £4.19, the Coconut Oil Repairing Conditioner £4.19 and the Coconut Oil Leave In Conditioner £4.99

All three of the hair care products contain ethically and sustainably sourced coconut oil and Tahitian monoï oil and all three products are free from sulphates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, gluten or dyes. Palmers is a cruelty free company and does not conduct product tests on animals.

Palmers Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo - £4.19

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formla Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo is a rich, creamy shampoo, free of sulfates and harsh detergents, that gently cleanses and removes buildup without stripping hair or interrupting its delicate moisture balance.

I thought I'd give you a bit of a background on my hair type, but if you're a regular reader of my blog, you will be aware that I have very thin hair and my hair is also extremely oily, so oily that sometimes it can be washed in a morning and be looking oily by the evening, but if not it would definitely always oily the day after it has been washed. I also have my hair coloured using a tint, no bleach.

Having blonde hair, I use a violet toned shampoo more often than not. After reading that the Palmers shampoo was suitable for dry, damaged and colour treated hair,  I worried it wouldn't be suitable for my hair because my hair is so oily. The first time I had my hair washed with the shampoo, I didn't try any of the conditioning products because I wanted to try them all separately and together for the purpose my review.

The shampoo is in a large 400ml bottle with a flip top lid and is easy to open.

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

The shampoo smells incredible and has a lovely coconut scent, reminding me of summer and holidays. The shampoo lathered up well and rinsed out with ease, my hair is awful to brush through when it is wet, despite it being extremely thin, it resembles a birds nest and takes some brushing through. After having my hair washed with the Palmers shampoo, my hair didn't look so birds nest like and it did brush through a little easier than usual.

Once brushed through, my hair was dried, no styling as such, just dried off the with hairdryer whilst being brushed through at the same time, I don't have a style, my hair is long and straight. My hair smelled beautiful after it had been dried and felt lovely and soft and looked healthy and shiny and my first impressions were excellent.

Palmers Coconut Oil Repairing Conditioner - £4.19

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Coconut Oil Repairing Conditioner is a rich, creamy conditioner that instantly detangles and coats strands for silkier, shinier and easier to manage hair.

As with the shampoo, the conditioner smells lovely, it has the same scent as the shampoo. I don't use conditioner regularly because I find my hair gets very oily, very quickly, so I only use it once a month, and when I do use it, I have it applied only to the mid lengths and ends of my hair and never near my roots.

The directions on the conditioner are to use after shampooing and to apply and leave to penetrate the hair for 3-5 minutes before rinsing, the first time I used the conditioner, I used it with the Palmers shampoo and it was left for around 3 minutes before rinsing. My hair was nice and easy to brush through once towel dried and when it had been dried with the hair dryer, it felt lovely and soft and silky and smelled beautiful and again, my first impressions were excellent.

The conditioner has the same flip top lid as the shampoo and is easy to open and close.

Palmers Coconut Oil Leave In Conditioner - £4.99

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

Palmer’s Coconut Oil Leave In Conditioner instantly detangles, putting an end to tugging and pulling. With a few sprays hair has instant slip and silkiness for easier comb-through and styling. Hair nourishing emollients fortify hair, control frizz, reduce split ends and give hair healthy-looking shine.

The leave in conditioner is so easy to use and sprays an even mist onto the hair, I find some sprays just squirt out randomly which is annoying but this doesn't it sprays a nice even mist of the conditioner. I use around 4 sprays of this after my hair has been towel dried. My hair as I said resembles a birds nest when it has been washed and towel dried and it is very hard to brush through, this makes it so much easier and my hair smells incredible,  and when it is wet and has been towel dried it brushes through with ease and my hair is left looking and feeling soft and sleek.

My Overall Thoughts

Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Haircare

I absolutely adore the Palmers Coconut Oil haircare range, all three products smell incredible and leave my hair looking lovely and shiny which is difficult with blonde hair,  and feeling soft and silky and smelling amazing.

One of the best things I have found since using the products is that I noticed within the first couple of weeks of using the products was, that my hair doesn't get oily as quickly as it used to. To not have oily hair usually, I would have to have my hair washed every single day, sometimes it can be oily in the evening as it has been washed in a morning. At first I thought my hair might not be getting oily as fast because I'd been really poorly with a chest and kidney infection so hadn't had my hair washed for almost 2 weeks, which I know is absolutely gross, but I was just too poorly.

I continued to use the shampoo and noticed that my hair can go days in between washing with just a small amount of dry shampoo and I can wear it down for that length of time too which is completely unheard of for me. I can literally get my hair washed on a Saturday, then not have to wash it until Wednesday and that NEVER happens. And if I didn't wash it on Wednesday, I could get away with dry shampoo and wearing my hair up until Saturday when it is washed again, meaning I can go a whole week without having my hair washed. This for me is completely unheard of, usually if my hair is washed on Saturday, it would look greasy at the crown on Sunday so would have to be dry shampooed and worn up, then washed on Monday. It's amazing that I can wear my hair down for days in a row, and not having to have my hair washed twice a week or more if needed is so much better for me body/health wise too.

My favourite combination to use on my hair is the shampoo, followed by the leave in conditioner, it is a fantastic combination of products for my hair, my hair looks, smooth, sleek and shiny, smells amazing and looks great for days, around once a month I will use the repairing conditioner to give my hair a deeper condition.

I have also used the leave in conditioner with my violet shampoo and it works brilliantly with that too and again I can go days without having my hair washed which is just brilliant for me.

As with a lot of the products I review, my family also try the products for me so that I can give you another opinion on the products other than mine.  My eldest daughter has been using the products too, she has her hair bleached and has done for a while and as a result her hair is very dry, she absolutely loves  the products and has tried them all. After using them all and trying the shampoo with both the leave in conditioner and the repairing conditioner, she finds the shampoo and repairing conditioner are best for her hair and she said her hair looks and feels so much better when she uses them than with her regular hair products, she is very impressed and said she will continue to use the products.

I love that the shampoo is 400ml, meaning it lasts really well,  and you don't need to use lots of the product, the 400ml bottle lasted brilliantly and since reviewing the products for my blog, I have since purchased the shampoo myself because I didn't want to run out. The leave in conditioner and repairing conditioner both still have some product left which is brilliant and shows that a little goes a long way. I use around 4 sprays of the leave in conditioner and a small amount of the repairing conditioner is enough, meaning the products last really well, I will be purchasing both the conditioners once they are running low.

All in all, I am extremely impressed with all 3 of the products, my hair looks and feels so much better and the fact that I no longer suffer with oily hair is nothing short of a miracle, I am blown away that I have my hair washed once a week and it doesn't look oily in between, I have suffered with oily hair for around 22 years, so as you can imagine I am VERY happy that I no longer have oily hair.

If you would like to try the Palmers Coconut Oil hair products, you can find them online and in store at Superdrug and Boots, or if you prefer, you can find the shampoo here - £4.19 the leave in conditioner here - £4.99 and the repairing conditioner here -£4.19 from the Superdrug website where they currently have a buy one, get the second half price offer, so a great time to try!

Have you tried the Palmers Coconut Oil hair care range? And don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for my in depth review of the Palmers Coconut Oil body care range and other products, coming soon to the blog.
