It has to be said, I'm a real sucker for a gimmick and when I received the Fabulift Fabulous Eyes Lifting Serum £29.99 I did wonder if it would be a gimmick. I received the serum along with lots of other parcels when I returned from my holiday which was a nice welcome home. I didn't start using it until mid September and since then I have given it a good test, I wanted to let you know how I got on with it and if indeed it is a gimmick, or if it actually works.
The Fabulift Fabulous Eyes Lifting serum comes in a box with the brand name on the front and some helpful instructions on the side, I like it when brands have instructions on their boxes instead of or as well as an instruction leaflet as I am always eager to try things and don't like trawling through leaflets, so I was pleased to see the instruction on the side of the box, with helpful illustrations too.
WHAT FABULIFT SAY ABOUT THE FABULOUS EYES SERUM
MY THOUGHTS & FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The first time I used the Fabulift, I had just got up, had a shower and done my morning skincare routine, so I decided it would be a good time to try it out. I followed the instructions which are to apply to clean, dry skin and use a very small amount, Fabulift recommend a grain of rice size. I have to admit I did squeeze out a bit more than that, but I used a tiny amount. There is said to be 150 applications in the tube, so if used daily it should last around 5 months.
I applied the serum under my eyes and at the sides of my eyes and in-between my eyebrows. Fabulift recommend you apply it to your eye lid and up to the brow bone but I have very hooded eyes and to be honest didn't think anything would make a difference so I stuck with the areas I am most concerned about for my first test and to be honest, call me sceptical but I didn't think it was actually going to do anything anyway.
As the serum was drying, my skin did feel a little tight but not uncomfortable, I was just aware of it but once it was dry it was fine. I went to look in the bathroom mirror and honestly couldn't believe it, it had worked, I applied it to my right eye so I could tell if there was a difference and there was. I was so pleased, I got my phone and snapped some photographs ( I am now wishing I wasn't in PJ's and sans makeup) so I could share them with you because I was speechless.
I asked Simon if he could tell which eye I had applied the serum too and he could tell and both my girls were seriously impressed too. I honestly thought it was going to be a gimmick but it isn't at all and I was thrilled to bits with the results and this was only my first trial run on one eye!
The serum has a nice consistency, and it feels nice when applying it but as I said it does feel a little tight whilst it is drying, since the first time I used the serum, I have learnt that applying too much leaves quite a tight feeling that I found a little uncomfortable but that is my own fault and was a good way of finding out that I don't need to use more than is advised.
I have since used the serum on my eye lids and up to my brow bone and I do notice a slight difference but I do have very hooded eyes so apart from surgery, nothing is going to work as you will see in the photographs. For me the best results I have are under and around the eyes, I also find my dark circles don't look as bad too which is an added bonus. I am absolutely thrilled with the results I get when I use the Fabulift serum and if you are like me and a little on the mature side or you have fine lines around your eyes or in-between your brows, this is for you. My mum tried it too and is also in love with it, so much so she has asked my dad for some for Christmas!
Before & After Results
As I said, I was a little over excited when I took these photographs and I am fresh out of the shower in my PJ's so please ignore that and I apologise if you're eating, nobody needs to see me without makeup at the best of times, but here goes.
I didn't think I needed to point out the before and after, but thought I would just incase. I hope you will agree that the difference is very noticeable, it was much more so "in real life" as is always the way with these type of photographs and they are snapped on my phone in the bathroom. I was going to re take some with my hair done and not in PJ's but these are the photographs I took as soon as I applied the Fabulift for the first time so it seemed right to share these with you, as awful as they may be.
I think it is quite obvious that I am really impressed with the Fabulift serum, I was blown away the first time I used it and have felt the same every time I have used it since. I don't use the serum daily, but I have used it quite a lot and I still have plenty product left and because you need such a small amount, and given there are said to be 150 applications in the tube, the tube should last me a good while yet.
I love the results I get from the serum and will definitely continue to use it, I have already recommended it to friends and family and most of my friends have tried it when they have been visiting and they love it as much as I do, I doubt it will only be my mum who adds this to her Christmas wish list.
The Fabulift Fabulous Eye Lifting Serum really is fabulous and I cannot recommend it enough, whether it is for yourself as a "to me from me" gift, or you pick this up as a gift for a friend or family member who you think would like to try it, I think it will be gratefully received, and with Christmas not too far away and there being 25% discount at the moment using the code FABULIFT25 at the checkout, now would be a great time to buy.
Have you tried the Fabulift Fabulous Eye Lifting Serum? Are you impressed with the results I got? And do you have lazy PJ days and get into clean PJ's after your morning shower, or is it just me that's a lazy blogger?
