Valentines Gift Ideas For Dogs

Welcome back.

After what seems like the longest January in the history of mankind, it's finally February, the month of love and almost Valentines Day. 

I see a lot of gift ideas posts for partners at this time of year, but I thought I'd mix it up a little and for Valentines this year, I have a gift ideas post for your dog, after all, our fur babies are loyal, caring, they love us unconditionally, and best of all, they don't lie and mess us around, sounds like the perfect Valentine to me, but don't tell my partner.

I hope you liked my choices of gifts for your doggy, I loved looking for them and Bear, my dog enjoyed helping me look too, although I think he thought he was in for a very nice Valentines Day this year. Whilst looking I discovered some great websites so I thought I'd share a bit of information on those too just incase it might be helpful for you.

Yappy

I really liked the Yappy website, it is brilliant if you have a dog or cat or if you're buying a gift for someone who has a furbaby. You can create a profile for your pet, I created one for Bear, I put in his breed, name and gender, then chose his colouring from a range of options and then each personalised item shows Bear on it, like the images above, it's really cute and they have some amazing things and not just for Valentines, there is a lot of choice for lots of occaisions, a brilliant website. 

Peace With The Wild

I must admit I hadn't heard of this company before searching for products for this post, but I'm really glad I did, they are a family run business, who work with small independant brands who all believe in a greener future by using the most natural ingredients and recyclable/biodegradable packaging and they have a huge range of plastic free products, as a family they have been trying to live waste free for quite a few years and they echo this in their business too, they have a brilliant ethos and the products they sell look lovely, and there is something for everyone. 

The dog treats I included in this post contain no nasties, we feed Bear on a grain free and natural product diet, and we buy treats to mirror this, the treats I shared are grain free and natural, they contian peanut butter, strawberries and carrob, that's it, no preservaties, no nasties and the packaging is plastic free. 

The product range includes cleaning products, makeup, pet care, gardening, food and drink, mama and baby and much much more, they are definitely worth a look, I will definitely be placing an order soon, if you're interested in the website, you can find it with this direct link, here. 

Dfordog

Another great website selling so many great products for dogs and cats too, there are lots of items to choose from, including beds, collars, leads, toys, clothes amongst other things, I could get lost down a rabbit hole browsing their website, I'm really glad I found it and again, I hadn't heard of it before searching for items for my post. I also didn't realise how much choice for pets there is on the Shein website, there is absolutely loads of things on there and all at really affordable prices.

Happy New Year - New Year, New Blog Look

Happy New Year, well I say new, we're almost nearing the end of January now, but since this is my first blog post of 2022, it is only right to wish you a Happy New Year. 

More excitingly, this is also my first blog post since my blog has had a little makeover, do you like it?

I'd had the same blog look for such a long time and it really was tired, so I decided in December that I was going to have a little blog makeover. The pink theme is still around, but I wouldn't be me if it wasn't pink would I? But it's all a little more neat and tidy now, I'm thinking of a new header now so if you have any ideas, let me know. 

Apart from wishing you a Happy New Year and sharing my new blog look, I also wanted to pick your brains, I am going to be asking on my Instagram stories over the next few days, but thought I'd ask here too, what would you like to see from my blog in 2022? I'd love to know and I'm open to suggestions, if you'd rather wait for the Instagram stories, that's fine, but if not, pop a comment below and let me know your thoughts, please.

Convertible Color, is a cult classic, and is now available as a quad. Two in one lipstick and blush loaded with creamy translucent colour. Four curated shades in a petal soft texture and dewy finish. I love using a cream blush and the convertible lip and cheek products from Stila are lovely, I have tried a couple in the past and loved them and the quads are stunning, I have the #1 quad which contains the colours:

• Lilium

• Petunia

• Gerbera

• Patina

 

Petunia is one of my favourite cream blush shades so I was pleased to see it included in quad #1, the shades in quad #2 are brighter but equally as lovely. The convertible colour blend beautifully into the skin when used as blush and are a lovely lip colour too, and to have a quad is perfect, it means you have a choice of 4 gorgeous shades but without taking up lots of room in your makeup bag. I will be writing a separate post on the quad #1 coming soon which will include swatches of all 4 shades, so keep an eye out for that.

Overall Thoughts

I think all the products from this years Stila Christmas collection are stunning, they are all great value for money too and come in beautiful packaging, out of all the beauty brands Christmas collections, I think Stila have definitely come out on top with their packaging and prices too, I couldn't choose a favourite, I love all the items and will use every single thing, well apart from the liquid liner pen, my daughter has her eye on that!                                                                                                                           

Beautiful products, great value and ideal gifts if you have any last minute shopping to do, or if you want to treat yourself, and let's face it, we all deserve a treat now and then don't we?

I was absolutely blown away when I saw the contents of the skincare box, and when I read the enclosed card showing what products are inside the box, and how much each product retails at, I was seriously impressed. Beauty boxes I have had in the past have mostly (not all) included one full size product and then a couple of travel sized products, plus lots of samples that can only be used once. The All About You box is packed with full size products from great brands. 

The contents of the box add up to £415.43 so the price of £129.99 is fantastic, and there are products in the box that I have wanted to try for a while such as the Votary cleansing oil, Oskia serum and Weleda eye cream, so I was really pleased to see those inside the box, but all the products sound brilliant and I am looking forward to trying everything out. 

Usually I like to use everything I am sent to feature in my Christmas gift guides so I can let you know my thoughts, but with skincare it's a little harder as I like to use skincare products for a few weeks before I can let you know what I think and if the product performs well and gives the results it claims to. I can't try a skincare product for a couple of weeks and say if it's worked for me or not, so I am going to be writing separate reviews of the products included in the box as and when I have tried them for long enough, so if there is a product or products you would like to see a review of please keep an eye out on my blog. 

Overall Thoughts

I honestly cannot recommend this box enough, the value for money is excellent, and the products inside all look and sound amazing too. If you don't like the sound of everything in the box, but do like some of the products, you could maybe split the cost of the box with someone you know and share the products out between yourselves, then you can both try the products you want to at a more affordable price.
