Hello Lovelies
Up until a couple of years ago I never ever filled my brows in despite having a professional make up artist daughter who constantly told me my brows did look better with a bit of filling in and how they "framed my face" I still always felt I looked silly.
Fast forward to the present date and now I always fill my brows in and couldn't not when applying make up. I don't fill them in if I'm not wearing any make up but when I have make up on I also have my "brows on" as my daughters would say. I have recently been trying out some products from the brand W7 and one of the products I received was the Brow Parlour Grooming Kit (£3.95) I've never used an actual brow kit before and have always used eye brow pencils or eye shadow and more recently brow pomade so I was really eager to try it.
I really like the external packaging of the Brow Parlour, it is a pink metal tin and reminds me of one of those mirrors with the lights round it, I thought the tin was really cute. Inside the tin is a very dark grey, almost black packaging housing 2 brow powders in a medium and dark brown, a highlight shade and a brow wax and then there is a pair of small tweezers and a small brush with an angled brush on one end and a spoolie on the other, there is also a mirror in the lid of the tin.
The Brow Parlour is a really good little kit and I love the mini tweezers and brush, there is something about miniature things that I love and these are no exception, they are so cute!
Unfortunately the 2 brow powders in the kit were too dark for me but I did use the lightest one to fill in my brows to see how well it applied and wore etc, I wanted to try it so I could give you a full review of the product. The brow powders apply really well, I used my MAC 208 angled brush to apply it, it applied well and blended through my brows nicely and evenly, the highlight is a lovely shade with just the right amount of shimmer and looks lovely under the brow bone but would work equally as well on top of the cheekbones. All is not lost as the brow powders will also make really lovely eye shadows so although they are too dark for my brows they will be lovely as eye shadows.
Overall I think this is a great little brow kit and would be perfect for every day use but also for travelling because as I said the brow powders will make great eye shadows too so for a weekend away you have a full eye look all in one kit and it's a fantastic price too. If you're in the market for a new brow product and feel these shades would work for you then I'd say definitely give the Brow Parlour a try it's a fantastic little kit for a really affordable price.
