You all know how much of a nail polish addict I am, so when I was contacted by Nailbox, a monthly subscription service dedicated to all things nails and asked if I would like to receive their July box, of course I said yes please. In today's post I am going to tell you all about Nailbox and their prices and then show you what was in my July box.
What Is Nailbox?
✿ Nailbox is a monthly subscription service containing nail polishes and nail products. Nailbox have been around for just over a year now, I have reviewed a Nailbox on my blog back in May 2015 when Nailbox first launched, you can read that post here if you would like to, so it was nice to be asked if I would like to receive another box.
✿ Each monthly box contains 3 or 4 nail polishes and 1 or 2 nail tools or treatments, each box is a surprise so you don't choose the products you receive, but you won't ever receive the same product twice.
✿ The box comes in a brown cardboard box with the Nailbox logo on the side and your address label on the top and is securely sealed, the products are inside the cardboard box with packaging to protect them. There isn't a box inside the outer packaging, this is because Nailbox say they would prefer to spend money on the content of their boxes rather than the packaging.
✿ Nailbox post the boxes out on the 21st of each month using Royal Mail 48 hour tracked delivery service, this is included in the price of the monthly subscription. Nailbox do not post outside the UK.
Prices start at £13.50 for an annual subscription (12 deliveries, 1 per month) and range to £15.00 for a one off month subscription, all box prices are inclusive of Royal Mail 48 hour tracked delivery.
What's In My Box?
Bourjois Turquoise Block (rrp £5.99)
Essie Jazzy Jubilant (rrp £7.99)
OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked? (rrp £8.50)
Rimmel Cheeky Chap (rrp £0.99p - £3.99)
Elegant Touch Stylist Metallic Nail Art Tape (rrp £3.95)
I was really pleased with the contents of the July Nailbox, I love both Essie and OPI polishes so was pleased to find those in the box, I wasn't keen on the Bourjois and Rimmel polishes but only because I personally don't like blue or green nail polishes because they don't suit me so I won't be using those. I like the formula of the Rimmel nail polishes and have a few Rimmel polishes in my collection, however the shade just isn't me and I also dislike matte finish nail polishes. I am the same with Bourjois polishes, they are nice I just don't like the shade including in the box at all.
I really like the OPI and Essie polishes and those will get a lot of love and the nail art tape looks really interesting too and I can't wait to use that to create some different nail looks, the tape is something I probably wouldn't ever have picked up either so having it in the box was brilliant, because it gave me the opportunity to try something new.
I think the value of the box is great ranging from £27.42 - £30.42, the box is excellent value for money. I spend a lot of money on nail polishes and products so for me the box is really good value, if you read my next beauty haul post I have coming up I have spent around £40 on nail polishes and nail tools, so in terms of value it's brilliant. The fact I don't like a couple of the polishes is something that is inevitable with any beauty box, I haven't ever had any type of beauty box where I haven't known the contents previously, where I have loved every single item in the box, so that isn't something that would put me off, there will always be friends and family members who do like the shades so they will be put to good use.
I am really pleased with the box, I think the contents are brilliant and it is great value for money and if like me you love nail polish and anything nail related, I think the nailbox would be an excellent subscription to sign up to.
Do you think Nailbox is something you would like to try? Or have you tried it? Let me know in the comments section below.
