The Bloggers Journal

The Bloggers Journal

I didn't write a what I got for Christmas blog post this year, but instead I thought I would share with you some of the gifts I got in various different blog posts over the coming weeks, so you will still see the beauty gifts I received and maybe a couple of other bits and bobs too but just not in one big blog post. One of the gifts I received was the A Bloggers Journal which was one of the gifts that my lovely friend Ashleigh kindly gave to me.

A Bloggers Journal £8.00 is a great little book and an ideal gift for any blogger or an ideal gift to yourself if you are a blogger.

A Bloggers Journal

"Always dreamed of starting your own blog? Let the blogger's journal help you get organised. With 66 sheets (132 pages) of paper with a variety of specially designed layouts, it will help you to plan your blog posts, track your stats and reach your goals. Eat, sleep, blog, repeat!"

The Bloggers Journal is a great little book and has so many different pages that are a must have for any blogger. There are pages to jot down blog post ideas you have, pages to track blogs you may have seen and want to follow and sections to jot down any groups you want to join or follow, Facebook has some great groups for bloggers so if you come across any whilst scrolling you can jot them down there so you don't forget.

There are pages where you can track your stats, whether is be blog or social media stats, you can track individual blog post stats too, you simply add the date what you're sharing and where and then theres a column for views and visits and one for likes and shares so it works for blog posts as well as social media.

A Bloggers Journal

The Blog section is great for planning blog posts, there is enough space to write a number of titles to choose from, what the post will be about, what you're trying to achieve within the post, something I had never done before but that is really helpful. There is also pages for writing down and keeping track of your goals, whether it be daily, weekly or monthly.

There is also a section for building followers and how you plan to do it and when by etc, I haven't used this section yet, but as we all know, Instagram is the most annoying social media platform right now so I'm hoping planning my goals and seeing any small increase written down might make me feel better about the fact Instagram is so bad. There are also quite a few blank pages so you can make notes of your choice which is also really helpful.

There are so many different features and sections so I won't bore you by listing them all, but I am so impressed by the journal and have used it so much and know that I will get a lot of use out of it over the coming year.

I have never written down blog post idea's before or title idea's or what I want the post to achieve, but it is really helpful and something I have been enjoying doing. And usually on the 1st January each year I jot down my social media stats and blog following numbers in my planner and I write down some goals for the following year, but the journal is a great way of tracking goals throughout the year which will no doubt be confidence building should things be going in the right direction. I struggle with my confidence and have a huge amount of self doubt, especially where my blog is concerned but hopefully if things move in the right direction, this will help me to feel a little more confident about my blog.

A Bloggers Journal

Overall I would definitely recommend the A Bloggers Journal to anyone who has a blog or if you know someone who has a blog and you're stuck for a gift idea for them, it is a great gift idea and I absolutely love mine and am so thankful and grateful to Ashleigh for getting it me for Christmas.

If you would like to pick up one of the A Bloggers Journals, they are available on the Paperchase website priced at £8.00
