It's no secret I'm a bit of a skin care geek and I love trying out new skin care products so when I received the Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser I couldn't wait to start using it.
What The Body Shop Claims
My first impression of the moisturiser was how nice it felt, it has a lovely light gel like consistency that sinks into the skin beautifully. The scent of the moisturiser is a lovely fresh scent with a hint of orange, the orange isn't too overpowering as I don't like orange scent but this has a lovely scent to it that doesn't linger once the moisturiser has dried.I wasn't sure the moisturiser would be rich enough for my very dry and dehydrated skin but it is lovely and my skin feels extremely soft and nourished, the Body Shop claims that the moisturiser gives the skin a healthy glow, I did find my skin looked radiant after using the moisturiser but I'm not sure it did anything for my "fatigued look" but I don't sleep much at all and look very tired all the time so I think it would take rocket fuel to help me to stop looking fatigued so I can't really comment on that aspect but my skin did look glowing and radiant.
I really like the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser and am really happy with the results I've had from it so far and would definitely recommend it, I have dry skin but I feel it could be light enough for a combination or oily skin too as the texture is so lovely and light but they hydrating properties are excellent.
If you would like to try the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser you can find it here on the Body Shop website for £16.00 per 50ml.
