This is my first NOTD (nail of the day) post of 2018 and it's a Barry M polish in the shade Bespoke £2.99 and as with all my NOTD posts, I will let you know how the polish applied and wore and if I wore it with an accent nail and top coat used etc.
I have had this polish for such a long time, you may remember it from my drugstore beauty haul post. I haven't written any nail posts in a while so it hasn't featured on my blog. I have been asked so many times recently if I will be featuring more nail posts in 2018 and if you are one of the people who asked me, I am pleased to say I definitely will be doing and hopefully some nail art too.
Barry M Bespoke is a lovely nude/pink shade, I saw this, when my friend Shelley was wearing it during a FaceTime conversation and I loved it and picked it up the next time I placed a Superdrug order. It is a beautiful shade and one that looks lovely all year round. I wear it alone or with a rose gold accent nail and it looks lovely either way.
The brush on the polish is a nice wide brush, I prefer a wider brush as I find it a lot easier to apply the polish with a wider brush.
I applied two coats of the Bespoke to achieve a nice opaque shade, and then I applied a coat of my favourite top coat, the Essie Gel Couture top coat £9.99 which gives an amazingly glossy finish. I find the Essie top coat makes my polishes last a lot longer too, usually with Barry M, I'd be lucky to get 12 hours wear time with a polish but with the Gel Couture top coat, Bespoke lasts around 4-5 days without chipping.

I also like to wear Bespoke with a rose gold glittery accent nail, I apply the rose gold glittery polish to my ring fingers and it looks really pretty with the Bespoke polish. The rose gold I use is the Maybelline Rose Chic £3.99 and it looks lovely and I get so many compliments when I wear it.

I love the effect the rose gold accent nail gives, it looks lovely and it's one of my favourite looks and one I wear on my nails a lot. Both Barry M and Maybelline have some lovely shades and their polishes are affordable too. The top coat is a little more expensive but it is amazing and lasts for such a long time, I buy 2 a year and there are 3 of us using it in our house so it isn't too bad.
If you want to pick up the Barry M Bespoke nail polish up, you can find it on the Superdrug website priced at £2.99, the Maybelline Rose Chic is also on the Superdrug website priced at £3.99 and the Essie Gel Couture Top Coat which is also available on the Superdrug website priced at £9.99.
So that is my very first nail of the day post for 2018, I hope you liked it, if you have any shades or polishes you would like me to try or if there are any nail art looks you would like to see from me, please let me know in the comments, via email or social media. It's been a while since I wrote any step by step nail art posts but if I can do it, anyone can and they are never super hard to follow, quite the opposite, and since I've been asked for more nail posts, your wish is my command.
Have you tried the Bespoke polish? Or the Essie top coat? and do you like an accent nail? Let me know in the comments below and let me know your thoughts on the nail art posts too.
