When I was first asked if I would like to feature
Babyblooms, a family run business, in my Christmas gift ideas posts, I knew I wanted to include them, but at first, I worried a little because I don't have a baby, and I wondered if it would fit my blog, but after a couple of minutes I thought, although I don't have a baby, I am a mum of two beautiful daughters, and being a mum, I know the kind of gifts I would have and did love to receive when I had my girls right up to the ages they are now. Plus having friends who have recently had babies and some who are expecting, and there will be other people who read my blog who may find it helpful, whether they are expecting a baby, have children or not, I decided I would love to feature Babyblooms.
When I researched Babyblooms, I soon realised that the items they sell aren't all for expectant or new parents and can be bought for others too and their products are all absolutely beautiful.

I started Babyblooms back in 2005 after having my own babies and seeing a need for baby gifts that were both beautiful and practical. Fresh flowers are lovely, but only last a few days and a practical gift isn’t always pretty. When I looked through the
Babyblooms website, I couldn't believe how beautiful the gifts were, and there are so many to choose from and to suit all budgets too. It really is the place to look if you need a new baby gift, baby shower gift, christening, birthday or a "just because" gift for new parents, babies, toddlers and others too, their gifts suit so many different recipients, I was seriously impressed with the amount of choice on offer, and as well as gifts to choose from, they also have a great choice of balloons for all occasions.

The gift arrived in a beautifully illustrated box with a pink ribbon tied around it, I have to say too that I have seen the Christmas gift boxes online and they are the same but red and are equally as stunning. Inside the box, the bouquet and towel were covered with tissue paper, it really was beautifully packaged. The bouquet is wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a bow, just like a flower bouquet would be, it is so beautiful and amazingly clever that the baby clothes are made into flowers, there are also some faux flowers and leaves within the bouquet too, it really is stunning.

With the baby clothes bouquet comes a beautiful personalised baby towel tied with a pink ribbon. The towel feels lovely and soft, I am very sentimental and this is something had I had it, I would definitely have kept. The hood of the towel is pink and personalised with baby's name, and the rest of the towel is white. It is a lovely gift and a lovely keepsake too.

It is stunning and as a mum, I would have been absolutely thrilled with such a beautiful gift when I had my girls.

Sending A Hug
Alongside all the beautiful items to choose from on the Babyblooms website, there is

Send a hug is for someone we know who needs a cuddle, you can send them a hug, with one of the Babyblooms cuddly companions Bertie Bear and Little Bunny who can be personalised, there are also lots of other gifts to choose from if you don't want to send a cuddly companion. It's really simple to do, just choose your message and your gift will be popped into one of the beautifully illustrated gift boxes with a gift card bearing your message and delivered to someone who really needs that hug.
Next day delivery is available on orders placed before 3pm if ordered Monday to Friday.
At the beginning of November, one of my friends lost a family member who she was incredibly close to and it devastated her, she lives quite a long way from me in the North East, plus covid rules meant I couldn't give her a hug in person. Sending her a hug was perfect and she absolutely loved it, I sent her a personalised Little Bunny in white, with a personal message on his ear, and she was so touched, she text me as soon as she opened it and this is what she said
"Thank you SO SO much for the gift you sent me, that is so kind and lovely of you, it is gorgeous and so lovely and soft, I even love the box it came in, it's lovely. It was a lovely surprise, really thoughtful, thank you"
He really is lovely, isn't he? and he meant so much to my friend at such a difficult time and I felt less helpless being so far away from her when she really needed that hug.
Overall Thoughts
I think it's very obvious that I think Babyblooms is a brilliant business, their gifts are stunning and I like that there are different budget options too, with some very affordable gifts to some gifts for a much larger budget depending on what suits you and their Christmas gifts are absolutely beautiful and like quite a few of the Babyblooms gift ideas, they are not just for babies or expectant parents. The packaging the gifts arrive in is just stunning and to be honest, I don't think I've seen as nice, the illustrated boxes are lovely and would make really nice storage boxes, or a keepsake box for other gifts and special items.
The Send A Hug feature is so lovely and something I will use again, and I will definitely be searching the website for gifts in the future, there is so much to choose from and all lovely items too. I really like everything about Babyblooms and would highly recommend them for Christmas gifts or for gifts at any time of the year, they really are a lovely company with the most amazing choice of gifts.
I also love that Babyblooms is a family run business, 2020 has been an awful year for small and family run businesses and to feature them in my Christmas gift ideas post is a pleasure, I wish them all the best for the future.
