Christmas Gift Guide - All Things Nails

Christmas Gift Guide - All Things Nails

If you're a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I am a bit of a  massive nail geek, I love anything nail related, nail polish, regular and gel, any nail treatments, false nails, tools, you name it, if it's nail related, I'm there. So today's Christmas gift guide is very exciting for me and for you too I hope, I have lots of things that anyone who loves all things nails will love, some stocking filler idea's and some a little more expensive dependant on your budget.

Nail Polish

You may have seen my previous Christmas Gift Idea's Nail Post where I spoke about gift sets from Leighton Denny, today I have some individual polishes that are perfect for this time of year and would make great stocking fillers.

Leighton Denny polishes are known as "5 free" polishes, meaning they do not contain Tosylamide Formaldehyde resin, Camphor, DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde, the formula of the polishes is a formula that Leighton Denny have been using since 2005, which is high glosschip resistant and self levelling formula. Where possible, I buy 5 free polishes as they are best for me and my nails, more on 5 free polishes soon on the blog.

Leighton Denny - Pillow Talk £12.00

This stunning rich navy blue shade, Country Club is part of the Heritage Collection and is a beautiful shade, perfect for this time of year, but also all year round. As with Pillow Talk it applies well, dries fairly quickly and lasts well on my nails.

The Leighton Denny Rock Solid nail treatment, is a one coat strengthening treatment, it can be used as a daily treatment, applying one coat each day for a week and then removing and starting again or it can be used as a base coat under any polish. It is a brilliant product and I have noticed a real difference since I have been using it.

Leighton Denny Crystal Nail File £15.50

I first bought my Leighton Denny Crystal Nail File around 16 months ago, I was fed up of buying nail files that didn't last more than a couple of times and so I took to Twitter to ask for recommendations and one of my lovely blog readers recommended the crystal nail file. The initial outlay I thought a bit expensive at first but having had mine for 16 months and never having bought another nail file since, owning it is much more economical and I am so glad I bought it.

It's easy to use, does a fabulous job of filing my nails and with a quick rinse under the tap and allow to dry, it is ready to use again. I honestly cannot recommend the Crystal Nail file enough and although it might seem a little expensive it is worth it and saves money on buying nail files in the long run. I am going to give this one to my mum who used mine recently and loved it.

You can find all the polishes and treatment I have shown by clicking on the price next to their name, or by visiting the Marks & Spencer website and the nail file is available either again by clicking on the price for a direct link or on the Boots website

False Nails

As much as I love having my nails painted with regular or gel polish, I also love to use false nails, and I am going to share my favourite brands with you today.

Kiss Gel Fantasy Nails

I first tried the Kiss Gel Fantasy nails around 6 months ago and ever since, I have loved them. I chose 2 of my favourite pairs at the moment to share with you today, but there are so many other styles available. The Kiss nails can be applied either with glue or sticky pads, both come with the nails and you also get a good amount of nails in each pack, the ones I have for you today contain 24 and 28 nails so it is easy to find a good fit for your nail.

The nails also come with instructions of how to apply them but they are super easy to apply and last really well on the nails, if you want them to last longer, I would recommend using the glue but if you just want to wear them for a night or day out, then the sticky pads are fine. My youngest used to have acrylic nails but stopped because they were damaging her nails and very expensive and now she uses the Kiss Gel Fantasty nails too, she really likes them too, and is always asking me which ones I have so she can "borrow" them.

imPRESS Press On Manicure

Another favourite of mine are the imPRESS press on nails, these are amazing and there is no need for glue, they last really well and look amazing, and each set comes with an accent style nail should you wish to have an accent nail, I adore them and have again chose some of my favourites for you.

Each set of imPRESS nails comes with 30 nails, that includes 6 accent style nails, the nails I have chosen today are the ones I wear most, I love the french manicure with the sparkly accent nail and the red with black polkadot, I always get compliments on. I think I will wear the burgundy for Christmas and the pale pink for new year, my daughter has already chosen the nude sparkly Kiss nails to wear at Christmas.

imPRESS nails are perfect for any occasion and being press on, they don't ruin your natural nail, they are easy to apply and remove and each pack has the instructions for use on the back.

imPRESS Press On Manicure

I adore both the Kiss nails and the imPRESS and I think you will too and they also make amazing stocking filler gifts or secret Santa gifts too, or as a gift for you if you're heading to any festive outings over the next couple of weeks.

You can find the Kiss Gel Fantasy Nails and the imPRESS nails on both the Superdrug website and the Kiss Nails are currently reduced in price and are £4.65 & £5.62 were £6.99 & £7.99 and the imPRESS nails are also reduced and are now priced at £5.32 was £7.99. So a great time to buy and making your gift shopping a little less expensive too.

I hope if like me you love nail products or buy a gift for someone that does, this has given you a little inspiration. Do you love nail products or buy for someone who does? And would they or do you like any of the items I have shared? Let me know in the comments below.
