I have quite a few Charlotte Tilbury items in my makeup collection already, some I use every time I apply my makeup, but all are products I love to use and I have quite a few product reviews on my blog. Today I am going to share with you some products from Charlotte Tilbury that I think would make lovely Christmas gifts and things I would be very happy to receive on the big day. The Hollywood Lips in Platinum Blonde is a peachy/nude shade with a matte finish, it is more peach than nude and a lovely shade to wear all year round. The liquid lipstick is said to have anti-ageing ingredients and feel like a second skin, with a weightless feel that glides on like a gloss. It contains ingredients such as anti-ageing sea lavender, hyaluronic acid & collagen boosting actives which slow down signs of ageing for smooth, plump lips and beeswax to protect the lips against drying out and providing nourishment.
The Hollywood Lips liquid lipstick applies well, it comes with a doe foot applicator and is opaque in one swipe, the formula feels nice on the lips and isn't drying. I have found the wear time to differ between the shades of the Hollywood Lips, but this one lasts around 6 hours on me before I need to top up, but some of the brighter and darker shades last all day, but the wear time is good and they wear away nicely too. The Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette
The Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette is stunning, with a quartet of eyeshadows in shades of russet reds, earthy browns & shimmering gold tones, the Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette is beautiful and I have created some beautiful looks with it, all the shades are stunning, the top right shade is perfect for a one shade look, applied all over the lid and blended out with a little under the lower lash line and some mascara, it's a super easy look but looks amazing, I have also used all 4 shades to create a warm toned smokey eye and using the golden shade in the bottom left as a touch of sparkle, that shade is best applied with your finger for best results. It really is a gorgeous palette and one I am pleased to have in my collection.
K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick - Penelope Pink
The Penelope Pink lipstick is a lovely nude/beige coloured lipstick which is perfect for everyday wear, it feels comfortable on the lips and lasts well. It compliments the eyeshadows perfectly.
The Feline Flick - Panther
The Feline Flick is a pen style black eyeliner, the nib of the liner is great for creating a precise line and the liner is easy to apply, even for complete novices like me. It lasts well all day and is easy to remove too.
Lip Cheat Lip Liner - Pillow Talk
I love this lip liner and it is my most worn lip liner in my collection, I already have this so it's nice to have a backup. Pillow talk is the perfect pink toned nude and looks great alone all over the lid or with your favourite nude lipstick.
The Full Fat Lashes Mascara
The Full Fat Lashes mascara is a lovely mascara that fans my lashes out nicely, gives them length and volume and wears well throughout the day, it doesn't smudge or flake and looks lovely and gives me length and volume in my otherwise really pathetic lashes.
Lip Lustre - Seduction
The Lip Lustre in the shade Seduction is a gorgeous nude shade, I'm not usually one for lip gloss but this doesn't feel sticky or tacky on my lips and is nicely pigmented, so much so I can wear it alone, it is so pretty and I am definitely going to get more shades.
Cheek To Chic Blusher - Ecstacy
The Cheek To Chic Blusher in Ecstasy is a real Zoë shade, and if you know me well you'll know what I mean. I adore coral blush, lips and nail colours and this blush is perfect for me, it has got some shimmer to it and usually I prefer a matte blush but this is so pretty and it isn't too shimmery, it just gives the right amount of glow and is beautiful.
I love all the products in this gift set, and if you were to buy the products separately they would come to £185.50 so you are saving £20.50 buying the gift set.
