NOTD - Essie Chinchilly And Leighton Denny Angel Dust

Hello Lovelies

Today I have a NOTD (nail of the day) post for you and today's look is one I really liked and got a lot of compliments on. I wore Essie's Chinchilly with Leighton Denny Angel Dust over the top to add a little sparkle and I thought it looked lovely. As always with my NOTD posts I will share the finished look with you and also give you a review of the products used and let you know the wear time of the look I created.

I love to wear Chinchilly by Essie, it's a lovely grey shade with a taupe/beige undertone and is the perfect shade to wear all year round but one I wear a lot during the autumn/winter months. It looks great with any outfit and is a really nice neutral shade. I love the wide brush on the Essie polishes it makes application effortless, I usually get around 7 days wear time from an Essie polish when I use my Orly Glosser top coat, and it also gives me an incredible shine to my polish.

I'm not a huge glitter polish fan and until a few months ago I only used to use glitter polishes for Christmas nail looks. Around 3 years ago I bought Leighton Denny's Angel Dust in the January sales and fell in love with it immediately, it is stunning and provides a subtle glitter finish to any polish and looks lovely when worn over any of my nail polishes. My mum kindly bought me an Angel Dust polish for Christmas 2015 and I am so happy to have it in my collection again, it is my favourite glitter of all time. Over the last few months I have been enjoying wearing a subtle glitter polish as an accent nail or all over the nails so I am so pleased to be able to wear Angel Dust again. It is easy to apply, it has a nice brush and the glitter applies to the nails evenly, I absolutely love it and would highly recommend picking it up especially if you are like me and like a subtle glitter polish.

To achieve the nail look I applied three coats of Chinchilly to my nails and then one coat of the Angel Dust followed by the Orly Glosser topcoat.

I really like the finished look of my nails and as I said I have worn this combination quite a lot over the last few weeks, a lot of people thought I had had a gel manicure which I thought was a lovely compliment. My nails lasted for 7 days without chipping and the polish removed with ease, I will definitely be continuing to wear this look as I really like it and always receive a lot of compliments when I wear it.

If you would like to create this look you can find the Essie polish in the shade Chinchilly on the Superdrug website HERE for £7.99 and you can find Angel Dust on the Nail Polish Direct website HERE for £11.00 including free delivery. If you would also like to try the Orly Glosser top coat, that is available on the Nail Polish Direct website HERE for £13.80 including free delivery.

Thank you for reading, much love as always

Zoe x
