Today I have a NOTD and review post for you and today's polish is Toggle To The Top by Essie, I received this polish in a gift set of 4 Essie polishes for Christmas and hadn't ever tried it before, it was part of the 2013 Essie winter collection and is a lovely deep red polish with red glitter running through it.
You can see in the photograph above the polish is full of red glitter which means it applies evenly, there is nothing worse than a glitter polish that applies streaky or patchy, Toggle To The Top applies well and has the usual wide brush that all Essie polishes have, I like wide brushes as it makes application a lot easier.
To achieve today's look I used 2 coats of Toggle To The Top and then applied one coat of my Orly Glosser top coat to give an amazing shine.
Toggle To The Top is a deep wine red colour with red glitter running through it, it's a lovely shade for winter but was also lovely over the festive period but now Christmas is well and truly over this will be a lovely shade for the winter months and is perfect for either day or night. The polish applied well and lasted for 4 days before it chipped, I do usually find Essie polishes last longer but I find glitter polishes don't always last as long as non glitter polishes.
I really like the polish and it looks lovely with the top coat to give extra shine making the glitter really stand out. I have also found it for £2.99 on line which is a fantastic price, it is available on the Fragrance Direct website HERE for £2.99.
If you would like to try the Orly Glosser top coat, you can find it on Nail Polish Direct HERE for £13.80.
Thank you for reading, much love as always
