Hello Lovelies
I love blush but for years didn't wear it because I have very rosy cheeks and I thought it wouldn't look right, then around 6 or 7 years ago I tried a cream blush from Illamasqua and it completely changed my opinion on wearing blush and since then I have worn blush and now love trying new blush products, my favourite shades of blush are pinks and peach/coral shades.
For my birthday one of my lovely friends kindly bought me the Clinique Cheek Pop in the shade Pink Pop, I was thrilled to receive it as I had been lusting after the Cheek Pops for a while but never picked one up.
The packaging of the Cheek Pop is a lovely sturdy clear perspex with the Clinique logo on the lid, through the lid the blush can be seen. The actual blush itself is absolutely stunning, there is an embossed daisy on the blush, it is so pretty and I really didn't want to spoil it by using it but then again it's just too nice not to use.
Pink Pop is a beautiful pink/coral shade so the perfect shade for me, it looks quite coral in the pan but transfers onto the skin as a soft pink shade with coral/peach undertones. Pink Pop applies well and blends beautifully, the blush can be applied with a light hand for a subtle flush of colour or built up to provide a lovely bright flush to the cheeks, Pink Pop gives a gorgeous luminous sheen to the cheeks that is just the right amount and wearing a highlight with it doesn't look out of place. Pink Pop looks lovely on the skin and would suit many skin tones, it wears well lasting all day and doesn't highlight my pores. The shade of Pink Pop is stunning and will be perfect for the spring and summer months but is an ideal shade to wear all year round, I adore it and know I will be getting a lot of wear out of it, it really is stunning.
I am wearing Pink Pop in the photograph above, unfortunately it was dark so it's not the best photograph but hopefully you can see it has given me a nice flush to my cheeks, I am wearing highlight in the photograph too.
I adore the Clinique Pink Pop blush and since using it I would love to try more shades in the Cheek Pop range and would highly recommend if like me, you have been wanting to try the Cheek Pops but haven't, you give them a try, especially Pink Pop, it really is stunning.
