I've been loving liquid lipsticks recently and after trying one of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in the shade Antwerp and loving it (see that post here) I wanted to try more of the NYX liquid lipsticks so when doing a recent Boots online shop I decided I'd order one of the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks, there are 12 shades available but after searching swatches on Google images I chose the shade Life's A Beach.

My Thoughts
First of all I noticed the packaging was different to the Soft Matte Lipcreams, the Liquid Suede is in a longer tube and on top of the lid it is almost gem like, it's really nice. The wand is a long wand with a thin applicator that is bent slightly.
I found the Liquid Suede easy to apply, it isn't messy at all and dries down to a matte finish quite quickly, it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the lips at all and the wear time is incredible, it lasts so much longer than my Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp, I am really impressed with the wear time of the Liquid Suede, my lips didn't dry out massively throughout the day or become uncomfortable. I don't eat during the day but I did drink as normal and chat a lot and when it came to removing my makeup some 6 hours later the product was still clearly visible, it had started to wear off but I wasn't left with an unsightly ring of colour around my lips and it had faded away quite nicely.
The shade Life's A Beach is what I would describe as a neon coral shade and is perfect for the spring and summer months, it looks lovely on and I can imagine I am going to get a lot of wear out of it over the coming months, it is the perfect spring/summer shade for me, it's a lovely bright coral shade.
The pigmentation of the Liquid Suede is brilliant and provides a full and even coverage in just one swipe, the swatch in the above photograph is just one swipe of the wand, the colour pay off really is incredible.
I am super impressed with the NYX Liquid Suede in Life's A Beach and definitely want to try more shades, it applies well and effortlessly, the pigmentation is fantastic and the wear time incredible, I am really pleased I decided to try it. I thought the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream was good but this is something else, such a brilliant product and one I would highly recommend you try, if you love the Soft Matte Lip Creams, you'll love these.
